Also worth pointing out this isn’t the same madhouse from back then. Much like with medalist animators came to work under the team because how much they admire the manga. Although Frieren didn’t need the high level animation but it really made great use of it by elevating the manga. Though with Frieren and also Orb you are seeing a resurgence from madhouse. Which is cool too see :ehh:

I do think a great anime staff can get the most out of an average source material. Demon Slayer is one example of this. Though sword smith arc is when I noticed some rough points. When the source material is towards the bad side there is only so much they can do. Mha after S3 is an example of that.

Didn't know that that was the case with Madhouse.

Personally don't rate Demon Slayer that high. The animation is beautiful (the fight scenese specifically), but that's about it. Characters lack depth, the story is not that interesting.

Oh I would agree with that. Though the sibling bond between Tanjiro & Nezuko does give the story a lot of heart even if the story itself is very formulaic with how battle shounens. Prob why the Japanese crowd fell in love and is obsessed with the series.

MadHouse's comeback story is pretty dope, I thought they were out of the elite anime circle and then Frieren happened and they put on a classic :wow: now they getting some dope projects to keep it going (Orb included).

Is Orb worth watching?

I don't think I could predict a thing that happened in episode 8 of Apocalypse Hotel. :dead: They went ham on the animation here.

Yachiyo coming back to the hotel, and she ends up losing her way. She has always been very detailed oriented on how she wanted the hotel to be run. Ponko did a pretty solid job, but there were various things you could tell Yachiyo asked herself why the hell is that there. She looked at why isn't the hotel ran the way I was running, but she didn't consider how Ponko was feeling. Yachiyo learning a bit of empathy here. With that being said, I hope she gets something close to her old body.

Giving One piece a real shot. Up to episode 27. It's really really good. I'm surprised

I'll also be watching for the rest of my life since there are so many episodes right? 😅
Find a anime site that let’s you skip the opening ending of the episodes

Watch it dubbed since the anime is caught up to almost the most recent episode if you want to speed run it:pachaha:

But it start off a bit slow then has it’s moments in between but picks up during Water 7 then the rest of the run up until the time skip is pure piff:wow:

Rest of To Be Hero X gonna be in 2d :ohhh: the current fan theory is because in these flashbacks X isn't the top hero yet so he's not snapping the world from 2d to 3d

Crazy we still haven't seen dude in the show yet but the whole art style is based on his ability

Don't know if this has been done here before but what is everyone's anime variety score looking like? Here's mine

Started watching. It seems like a decent fantasy series. A bit too much tell when they already show us in various scenes. The animation is surprisingly solid given the studio. Fridays are light besides Apothecary so try some more episodes if it is worth a shot.

Only 24. Never finished a season of Banana Fish, Case Closed, Gundam or Food Wars. I did read the manga of Food Wars though
