Despite the previous episode with the introduction of Shoko, there wasn't too much we learned about her. More so to the point of her being an only child, which leaves Sakuta even more confused.

Normally, Rio is the one Sakuta goes to advise. Though it is her with the problem now. We first see her with a different hairstyle and no glasses which is very odd. Although when Sakuta is with Mai, we see Sakuta talking on the phone with Rio, but Rio that he sees in the internet cafe is not the one talking about him. Apparently, there are two Rios, and we don't have much information beyond that. Though to think what looks like the regular Rio is living outside because of this other Rio is concerning. Unlike in the last two arcs, we don't have a clear idea of what is causing it. Rio mentions Quantum teleportation, but even that is beyond the stuff mentioned in the previous two arcs.

The idea of Sakuta & Mai keeping an eye on each Rio makes sense. Although for the first time, Rio isn't in her usual spot, but is watching Kunimi play basketball. Now we know Rio has feelings for Kunimi, so could that be having an effect here? Still the copies of the mind is a bit hard to wrap my mind around so far. Although what is most concerning is what Saki shows Sakuta. Those kinds of photos on a private account is very concerning. Actually, surprising Saki for the first time isn't having an attitude with Sakuta. She is probably considerate about Rio since she is friends with her boyfriend Kunimi.

idk how many heads will remember Ronin Warriors, but it was a formative anime for me. Before I could get many anime on tv, it would show on one of the networks (sci-fi maybe?) and I watched it from start to finish. It’s getting a revamp after a hella long time…

Ronin used to come on toonami as well, shyt was basically anime power rangers

Back when a nikkas outfit turning white meant problems :wow:

That's a perfect description. Anubis was an ELITE villain too. He pulled the Vegeta switch-sides before I knew what DBZ was.

I forgot about it making it to Toonami. I remember this random block of anime on Sci-Fi (before it turned to SyFy). I'd catch Ronin Warriors and this other joint called Iria the bounty hunter.

Ronin Warriors is one of the goats.
Has some of the best music you'll ever hear in an anime.
Dope story and characters. Dope fights.
Glad to see it making a comeback. The new trailer looks fire.

I can't remember the last time I've been so mad about an animated version of a quality Manga/Manwha fam.

I remember being annoyed about ToG S2, but Beginning After the End really put into perspective how good us ToG fans had it after all :mjcry:
Fam TOG season 2 couldn't even get a dope OST like the first season

They hoed everything that had a complex story but gave Solo Leveling unlimited budget even tho that's one of the most boring stories out of all of em

The crazy part is I saw some of the react people who made it to the end of S2 that still praised it, because the Workshop Battles arc is just too good to ruin with mediocre animation.

I'm just praying that Solo Leveling's success gets them to show more love for Manwha budgets. If they blow it with Omniscient Narrator's Viewpoint, I'll lose my mind.

They gotta get a better team cuz this show starts speedrunning to things that need to be animated well very soon
Maybe if they do a S3 that could happen. Usually when things are announced this fast it was all planned at once. They just delayed announcing it.

Goes to show what gets a great anime and which doesn’t is never fair. :francis:
