I took a break from Windbreakers cause that shyt was turning into Fruits Basket and apparently it gets back on track with what it was in S1.

But man, the next two episodes was a trans backstory and then the very next episode that trans dancing on a pole in a strip joint? wtf is this :gucci:. How many more episodes of this shyt before we get out of this goofy arc?

I started watching Fable and that joint is funny. Kinda similar concept to Sakamoto days but more adult theme.

I mean Wind Breaker is more like a poorly done SoL with a delinquents theme than an actual delinquent' anime. Though tbh that arc fits the whole power of friendship aspects of the series. Tbh if someone is looking for a raw gritty delinquents or yakzua series this ain't it.

The conversation Mai turned to be more understanding than one would expect. More than likely, Koga has her own real issues. Plus got some wholesome bonding between Mai & Kaede.

Though for Koga she holds major issues of caring too much about what other people think. You did see that a bit in episode 2 when she is first introduced when she is constantly on her phone. Things of her not imagine how Sakuta can live without a smartphone. Hell, her drastic idea of going to school even sick because she wanted to keep up with everything going on with her friends. Though her being in a relationship with Sakuta clearly bothers Maesawa to spread awful rumors of Koga. It kindly points to the idea that the ideal that Koga wants everyone to like her is truly impossible because life isn't like that.

Sakuta really wearing his virgin crowd because how are you going to spread rumors of Koga being a whore if he is still a virgin. Kind of funny how fast the Maesawa falls after that point. Really shows how Koga trying to maintain a perfect image of her is a little silly. Though it makes sense why she is Laplace's Demon even if she doesn't realize it. She needs to make sure everything goes how she wants it rather than living her life. Though it is quite funny, Sakuta doesn't care about him being a virgin, while for Koga it was a lot for her to admit it. Really shows the difference between them as Sakuta doesn't care what other people think of him.

Watch the cartoon Fable…. And then when you have time. There are 2 live action movies on Netflix

I saw the movies first and didn’t even know it was an anime. But it’s pretty dope

I did like Mai bringing up what Sakuta wants to do. You can clearly tell she wants him to go to the same university as her. Also, her remark about no cheating is funny, but might provide an insight that Mai doesn't take lightly in cheaters. Perhaps a warning of sorts for when they start dating. Though from what we have seen out of Sakuta, I doubt that is something she would need to worry about.

Even with their final date and breakup, the loop continues for Sakuta and Tomoe. We even get a clear lie from Tomoe saying she is unaware of the loop. I did love how the theoretical question to Kunimi applies to both him and Sakuta. As Kinimi has a girlfriend, but it is clear Rio has feelings for him. For Sakuta he clearly has feelings for Mai, but at this point Tomoe has feelings for him. Still, Tomoe is just hoping there is a chance that Sakuta would have feelings for him. Though this was never going to happen for him as he has only feelings for Mai. As Sakuta has shown that the feelings of other people don't have a direct effect on him. He likes Tomoe as a friend, but her feelings for him won't affect that. He had to tell her straight.

The big thing for Tomoe she needed to stop holding her feelings. Even if she said they would break up and just be friends, there is a slight hesitation on her part. What if his feelings would change? Obviously, as stated for Sakuta that would never change. She needed to let that feelings out even if it means getting rejected. Now that things here are resolved, Sakuta & Mai are dating. Tomoe rejects Maesawa which shows a development in her. After all, her from before wouldn't want anyone to dislike her. Rejecting Maesawa's feelings what would lead to a potential of him hating her, but he seems to be taking it before compared to when he saw the misunderstanding 2 episodes ago.

It is quite interesting that it was all a future simulation with Tomoe as the source of Laplace's Demon. Still the question of why was Sakuta a part of it. Rio's suggestions seem fitting. Couldn't anyone else be a part of it? I wonder if it is possible that Tomoe had feelings for Sakuta for a while and even before they first met. That would make why he was able to be a part of the future simulations more than they shared the butt encounter. Plus her giving up on that love was the result why everything went back to normal. There is no evidence in the arc to show this, but it would make mores sense to me at least.

In quite the ironic moment, after Sakuta starts to date Mai, he finds Shoko.

Lucky Cyan just had one of the cleanest fight animation sequences of the year :whew:

the nikkas who fronted on this gonna be sick to they stomachs when they finally see all this piff they slept on :mjcry: i had no idea her battle IQ was gonna go up like that, sprayed the luck around so she could get auto-buffs

Queen cameo was :banderas: crazy how they previewed she lost to the OG in the tournament last year pretty easily. Ready to see her arc next.

Caught up to Wind Breaker. Action & music on point per usual. After the messy first arc with the fights against Shishytoren, the next two arcs which in S2 were def better writing and theme wise. Though Sakura's development feels a bit dragged out all things considered.

With that being said, this guy's introduction does potentially make things more interesting. I am wondering if he is Ex-Furin considering Tsubaki knows him. Could make for an interesting antagonist if they go that route and what, I assumed is true.

Great episode.

The big theme of this episode focused on the emotion side of magic. Interesting enough, Meg carries the emotions of all the people she has helped out. Makes me wonder if Faust has been pushing her towards that area. Meg seeing the kid in the same spot as her, but why did she survive? She is a bit of naive, but that is part of her charm. Thankfully, she was able to save that kid.

Though the big part of the episode was the 2nd half with the magic disaster happening. I am more interested in the Ancient Witch Tethys. Considering Meg was saved in Aquamarine, I am to wonder if there is now a connection between Meg and her. Her ringing the bell and saving that point even more illustrates that.

Meg shows Jack the power of emotions when embedded with magic. Honestly, it feels like Meg to be on the path to be the sage of emotions. Well, that is what, I think, will be the case. Although I did love seeing Jack say he won't let Meg die. She saved the people of Aquamarine, so no surprise that he is earnest. Jack really has a big heart.

With one episode left, it seems maybe Eldora will make a play in the final episode. Does she hold a connection to the curse? Could she be responsible for what originally happened to Meg and the people who happened to live in the area that got affected that Faust was too late to save?
