With Mai's situation resolved, we can have the two of them flirting. If that could happen. Go old-time loop. Rio basically explains this as Laplace's Demon. The time loop that is happening is coming from the future rather than the present for Sakuta while for everyone else is it is the present. The only person who knows this is Koga. More than likely, she is Laplace's demon. Though there is still a lot in the air from this. I got to feel bad for Sakuta because he is basically being blocked from dating Mai as the loop happens every time.
Koga's situation is a bit of a mess. The guy that her friend likes is into her, which she has no interest in. Also add in she wants to have a place in school, even if it is to force this misunderstanding. Sakuta sees a bit of Kaede's situation and more than likely fears what happened to Kaede might happen to her. Although Kaede was bulled which doesn't seem to be the case here. Although his main motivation for helping and agreeing with her is to get back control of his life. As not being able to do the things that he wants to must suck. Although a talk with Mai needs to happen first, which should be interesting.
