And have no idea how to enjoy it

I Iiked how they doubled back to ponko spilling some of that green stuff in the lake, that first guest really made a huge impact on the growth of the hotel, providing electricity n shyt through the terrarium, dropping good reviews to other aliens, etc.

Him and harmy definitely gotta come back

Man that start felt so relatable . Honestly, thinking about it, if she didn't get a day off she would work herself to death literally. Which is basically what Japanese work culture is.

One thing this anime really does well is showing rather than telling. Half the episode didn't have dialogue, but you really got the sense what the purpose was. So much anime have to tell you what's happening not once but twice. Wind Breaker is one show that does this notably where it is like ok we get it already

I def agree those two have to come back for the finale. Really showing how much change has happened. Though I got a feeling that the final episode going to end on sad, but positive note.

Seeing how awesome the directing and visuals+animation has me curious how this studio will adapt "The Summer Hikaru Died", which is a straight-up Horror Supernatural series. Starting reading it, but I heard nothing but good things about it. Hoping its as good as Dark Gathering.

At some point she's gonna get irrefutable information about humanity being wiped out, including her boss and all the family she's made in the hotel over the last couple centuries will help her through it. Probably will be upset ponko and them didn't tell her what they really saw when they went into that human spaceship...


But I'm hoping it'll be some shyt where when she discovers it she'll unlock a side mission reward that helps her through it emotionally, I think that's a dope little tidbit they sneak into the episodes to show the boss really wanted his androids to gain humanity through taking risks and experiencing things

I started Dark Gathering and stopped cuz they kept having postponements should I get caught up and finish?

Absolutely. The big first arc finished in the manga, and it left me speechless how good it was . The art, horror and supernatural stuff building to the plot were all 10/10. Plus the release schedule and translation releases are really consistent now.

Anime was good too, but it doesn't have that extra stuff the manga has. Which, to be fair, doing horror well in anime is hard, but I thought the anime did a solid job.

Caught up with Wind Breaker. Man I felt Endo's introduction as the main antagonist felt off. They kept telling how dangerous he was, but they didn't do a good job at showing us. Also 1 episode left, and I doubt they can do much in 1 episode.

My bad I was actually thinking of a story called Dark Air I was like ain't no way in hell they made a anime and I missed it

I think it got cancelled but it was cooking up to be something crazy, shyt was getting savage quick

I mean 3 nikkas tried to jump him and nobody could land anything clean.

Dude was having fun while they were going all out.

I don't know what else they could have done to make him more dangerous other than stop holding back and just beat the shyt outta all of em.

Yea I mean we already knew they were gonna immediately make all the nikkas who looked strong weak as hell once the next guy showed up


If he actually beat them down it woulda been too demoralizing after what they just went through
