We finally got antagonists here and they basically sequel baited us . Well, not as bad as Ishura's sequel bait, but that series is very high in substance that it would be interesting to read with its character writing & worldbuilding being great. This show got none of that.

Cloverworks got so much shyt they are working on we might not see S3 in 2–3 years at minimum.

I think I prefer S2 to S1. That whole Ume vs Chouji fight massively brought down S1 for me. I still haven't seen the reason why Ume is respected as the leader of the group. Whether someone liked Tsubaki's arc or not, at least they showed you why he is one of the 4 kings under Ume. Hell S1 did more that also with Hiiragi then Ume.

Though animation, fights and music were all top-notch. Though I think I mentioned that enough for this show.

yea they keep the stretched out flashbacks to a minimum this season

but tossed in the cross-dressing teenager doing pole dancing at an adult bar this show refuses to have a full season without weird shyt going on, that's prolly gonna be the running joke online with this series
