Inuyasha vs. Bankotsu was probably the best fight, Sesshoumaru wasn't really fighting his brother at all, he was just doing it to fukk with his head.

Man I still find It hard to believe to that was the best fight that year though….. that feels like a stretch

We all been talking anime for years and not one time has that been reference in here.

InuYasha is one of those legacy animes that helped boost the Adult Swim box and popularized Anime even more in the 2000's. Not as big as DBZ, but its one of those IPs that is long-lasting.

It will print money.

Yea I can’t deny that….. i used to watch it heavy back in college when I came home for like weekends or holiday breaks and had Nothing to do.

just felt like every ep was the same ep.

Though back then….. anime was still new to me so at the time I thought it was kinda the pinnacle of anime. That and DBZ

But then when I discovered that big 4 of Naruto/Bleach/Death Note/DGray man at the time…..

That shyt became mid to me mad fast lol

:youngsabo: Yeah, but the audience really wasn't for Men. That shyt was nuclear for the Women. Stoic Demon Brother. Perverted Monk. Love Triangles. Plus Inuyasha's grumpy ass.

3d/cgi animation is a character's power, it goes away once the time period changes
Yeah, the animation change for the Lucky Cyan stuff was :whew:

You were right breh, show is pretty fukking dope. Completely different from what I expected, shyt is way more :picard: than it has any right to be. Stopped after Cyan's story but it's been a while since a binged so many eps for a show I had no real expectations for.

I didn’t agree with all that…. But it wasn’t that bad…… it was fairly accurate
I mean the animation for the big shows is better now then back then because those stuff is running weekly back then.

Granted with stuff like demon slayer & mha there is too much focus on animation and not enough on choreography.

It was the better story overall so far, but I'm so tired of the teenager that is too p*ssy to make a move even though everything points to him making one that I couldn't fully commit to the first couple of eps of that arc:bryan: the last ep of the arc was the best of the series up to where I'm at though, so many answers and new questions :wow:

Up through episode 4. While I do think the direction of the comedy is still lacking much more compared to the manga, that aspect is still fun.

Though this episode shows the other side of Grand Blue, which is where it stands out compared to many gag comedies. It flips the script by using the comedy and making an endearing moment with Iori standing up for Aina with how the tennis club treats her. Though having read the manga, it doesn't leave as big an impression as Iori's other moments later in the manga. Though S2 will have one of my favorites.

:wow:

As Jinishi mentioned, Shishou performance felt like a script. I have no doubt this is what Shisui wanted. Although his death in retrospect is depressing a bit because he was willing to give up everything, he wanted for Shenmei. He didn't want much with him before she left the rear palace. Then he tried to get her to escape, but she refused.

Ultimately, Shenmei was arrogant, she thought she was wanted. But rather she was just a hostage to stop slavery basically. It was satisfying for her to learn the truth. Which we see why there are so many eunuchs and female servants in the rear palace now. Interesting history lesson in how it gets portrayed in this arc. Shishou played the villain, but he ended up rooting out the evil in the Shi clan. Thankfully, Shisui takes after her father rather than her mother.

Which leads to her request for Jinishi. She wants to make sure her sister and those in her situation can live. I am rather curious what comes next for Suirei when this is done. The other was her death. Well, at least Loulan's death. Though I doubt Shisui survived that. Like her father, she needed to play her part in the script. With the music and dance of a villainess in their final moments. Shisui of course, is one of the kindness characters in this series. You only think what if she was born in a better family situation. With a mother who loved her.
