Inuyasha vs. Bankotsu was probably the best fight, Sesshoumaru wasn't really fighting his brother at all, he was just doing it to fukk with his head.

I watched of Episode 1 Takopi's Original Sin

@T-K-G @MushroomX @Jmare007 This is definelty worth a try with its animation quality and Psychological themes. Granted if you can handle heavy themes. Great start to the new season so far.

You know a lot of times when we got series that have themes of bullying, suicide, etc. I am worried if these things are portrayed well. I am anime only for this series. I did read the author's other series, The Ichinose Family's Deadly Sins, which was a bit of a mess. This episode gave me more confidence going to the next 5 episodes.

The first is Takopii. He comes from what seems like a very ideal world. Of course, for him to understand Shizuka's pain is hard. There is such a big contrast to what Shizuka is going through. It isn't until he is literally in Shizuka's shoes that he understands her pain. The moment he hesitates to help her spoke volumes of him understanding. SadlSadly,y even helping the teachers didn't address the bullying problem.

For Shizuka she is a character you can immensely empathize with. Imagining not having a father and a mother who is never around. In fact, her mom being an escort is the source of Marina bullying Shizuka. She only has her dog to keep her comfort. No one has to go through that.

Now the tricky angle is Marina. It is clear her family situation is messed up because her father hires Shizuka's mom as an escort. I don't care how much Mariana is hurting, bullying to this extent doesn't improve things. Shizuka is innocent. Her mother might be a terrible mom, but even she shouldn't be held responsible for what is happening with Marina's family.

Is the dad scum? We see the mom in shambles. What is their married life like that lead to the dad hiring Shizuka's mom as an escort. Will continue watching. Also, wow, the animation quality was wonderful. Easily a must-watch if you can handle the heavy themes.

Yea I can’t deny that….. i used to watch it heavy back in college when I came home for like weekends or holiday breaks and had Nothing to do.

just felt like every ep was the same ep.

Though back then….. anime was still new to me so at the time I thought it was kinda the pinnacle of anime. That and DBZ

But then when I discovered that big 4 of Naruto/Bleach/Death Note/DGray man at the time…..

That shyt became mid to me mad fast lol

I never finished it for the same reason. Couldn't get a grip on what the actual fukking point was

yea…. All I remember about that show was the main character always kinda fighting/flirting with that girl, being mad about his brother and always fighting a swarm of monsters in the end, then rinse and repeat next ep! Lol

Anime basically covers all the volumes the manga adaptation has covered. With that said, it is only 4/16 Volumes out of the Light Novel. So interesting what they do since anime does add elements used in the manga even if it adapts the Light Novel.

All depends on if they're willing to go past the manga. Since manga is a big seller.

@storyteller I wonder how far they will adapt since I figure the end of vol 4 would be a good ender for cour 1. Vol 7 copy comes at the end of month for me.

I'm so hype for this. I wonder if two cours can get us to Amo's arc. I think the story kicks into another gear with Amo...the Trash Storm Arc is elite stuff, but I think they'd probably both be Season two.

Think about all the action themed anime we had over the years and look how many actually made the list.

Some popular shyt like Levi vs Beast Titan I get, but too much got slept on for popular shyt not because of how dope it was.

A nikka who doesn't enjoy watching action anime made that sorry ass list.
