I'm so far behind on anime, that I'm going to be eating the rest of the year.

Also, why are they making the Berserk Golden Age movies into a show? Enough already, why can't they remake the post Eclipse stuff and go from there? It's not like they're in danger of catching up to the manga...

I didn't like Bleach that much but the artwork was the one thing about it that was always great to me. I agree that some of the fights in Chainsaw Man were hard to follow, but I like the story all the way through. And Part 2 of the manga has been fun so far.

The falloff during the main story is why I haven’t bothered to pick up reading part 2. Different strokes for different folks :manny:

Before chainsaw man how likely was edgerunners to win anime of the year?

Does the Japanese anime community even acknowledge it the same way they do other anime? Being that it's highly mature rated and on Netflix.

I'm going to be real but I may be the only one that do not see the hype in Spy x Family. Glad brehs are enjoying it but it's not funny enough for me to overlook it's lack of direction. To the brehs that enjoy it keep on trucking but I'm bowing out this anime.

still think it will be personally, but I’m looking at this critically rather than popularity wise.

I don’t think Edgerunners will be remotely as popular as CSM, no. But the people who do watch it tend think highly of it, and I bet those opinions will be a lot less divisive than the reception to CSM down the line.

So for Bleach is it ever explained where the Quincies come from? I remember there just being one left and all off a sudden it's enough of them around to go to war

They really liked it from a quality perspective. Tho their preference from the JP audience for anime of the year would be between Demon Slayer, SxF, Kaguya, Lycoris and Made in Abyss.

Also CSM, Bleach and Mob would be higher up for them I would assume as they get more episodes and maintain their quality. Cyberpunk just is nowhere as popular as these big names in Japan.

Finally got around to watch Masaaki Yuasa's Kemonozume. I really enjoyed the 1st episode. The animation and art is superb. :wow: I like how the story, character development and plot is already established in the first ep. I'm already hooked in.
