The crazy part is I saw some of the react people who made it to the end of S2 that still praised it, because the Workshop Battles arc is just too good to ruin with mediocre animation.

I'm just praying that Solo Leveling's success gets them to show more love for Manwha budgets. If they blow it with Omniscient Narrator's Viewpoint, I'll lose my mind.
Considering aniplex seems to be the main ones behind the production committee it does leave hope that the adaptation should be at least solid. As long as they don’t fukk up the pacing.

It won’t need Solo Leveling budget. From everything I heard the story, plot & writing is crazy good.

I do plan to start reading the novel when the official translation comes out for it next month.

Yea I was locked in for the Workshop :whew:

I don't trust them, S1 of Solo was out before TBATE and they still disrespected the hell out of it

Maybe if they do a S3 that could happen. Usually when things are announced this fast it was all planned at once. They just delayed announcing it.

Goes to show what gets a great anime and which doesn’t is never fair. :francis:
Yea I know that but they still should've gotten ahead to get better animation going, the very beginning of the show is slow anyway so I was fine with them not going crazy animating alot of that stuff

idk how many heads will remember Ronin Warriors, but it was a formative anime for me. Before I could get many anime on tv, it would show on one of the networks (sci-fi maybe?) and I watched it from start to finish. It’s getting a revamp after a hella long time…

Why? :what:

Claymore, HSDK, Beelzebub, Arlsan Senki,, and Moribito would be far better shows to revive/remake.

If it was both, then I wouldn't care. But right now, it seems like one or the other.
I wouldn't be mad at any of the shows you suggested. But Ronin Warriors is dope too.

Claymore's second half (the manga) got a raw deal when it dropped, but I feel like it aged well. The original anime was fire, and it's too bad some of the late-game battles never got animated.

I have no doubt in my mind that any anime that was mainstream enough to be on American networks in the 90's-early 00's is getting a remake over the course of the next decade, it's easy money and it's the anime world's way of cashing in on nostalgia like how Marvel did here

All of em (except for like Gundam since they never stopped making new stuff)

Well, a bit of news regarding Mai is that her agency is having issue with her having a boyfriend. Interesting since she isn't an idol. It is basically a take it how it comes situation.

Meanwhile, for Rio, the whole thing with the account stems from confidence issues. The idea of wanting friends, but not knowing how to go about it. Thus, since guys had a reaction from her body, she thought that was the way to go. Which is obviously wrong as that led her to hate her body. For girls their body can be a curse for them even if some girls might be jealous of them for being more "blessed". From what we know, both Sakuta & Kunimi are her only friends that we know. Both now having boyfriends leads to a legit fear in Rio that she will be alone. Of course, Kunimi & Sakuta are both simple-minded. They wouldn't let go of their friendship with her.

The Rio back home gets hit with confidence issues when she sees the photo of the other Rio with Sakuta & Kunimi. The fear of being replaced and being alone. Of course, Sakuta needed to try to help this Rio out to realize she wasn't alone as well. Though for her, she needed to push to want it and not wait for it to be given to her. Alongside of that also not overworrying about things she can't control. Life is not meant to be idea, but how you work with what you got is crucial. We see that with her on the phone that she wants to go to fireworks. Also, she even confessed to Kunimi, but everyone knew his answer to it.

While this was a good arc for Rio to get some self-confidence in herself and be able to go for things even with her fears. It still leads to confusion about how the situation got resolved. Prob my least favorite of the 3 arcs so far because of that.

Catching up to Apothecary Diaries was a mistake. I can't believe that cliff hanger.

The Shisui/Loulan thing caught me off guard to begin with. I wasn't looking for it or expecting it. Shenmei's a monster.

They gotta get a better team cuz this show starts speedrunning to things that need to be animated well very soon
Same shyt as solo leveling s2 it ain’t a s2 really just part 2 of s1 just dropping it separately
Doubt quality change drastically enough since it’s one continuous season really
I haven’t seen it yet just what small clips that were trending

I felt like Ninja Kamui ended perfectly and didn't need anything else.

plus it dropped a notch once it started focusing on all that robot suit shyt.

Still enjoyed the series and that opening was fire, but yeah this is more unexpected than Ronin Warriors coming back.
