Silvestre's, it's a Peruvian spot most of them are in Maryland near Southeast DC and there's one in Bowie. Probably the nicest one.

:wow: They don't miss, EVER!
try the:
The Fajitas (with the House Ranch)
Best Rotisserie Chicken Ever
Steak Quesadilla
And the Red Snapper

I was hoping for a black owned spots only in this post honestly.

IMO, there aren't enough of them.

In a way, the lack of an ABUNDANCE of Mom and Pop/Sit Down type spots in SE, NE - there's probably some economic and sociological stories to be told.

Cause Harlem and Atlanta have those things.

Baltimore? DC? Not as much as their black numbers would suggest.

I live right by the Bowie joint. I ain’t been in a minute. Thanks for reminding me :ohlawd:

My brother just moved out there near Highbridge. I'm gonna tell him about this joint. Any Jamaican or Trini spots?

y'all really expect a visitor to go all the way to Bowie or even Arlington/Nova for food? :mjlol:

:what:

I was on FaceTime with my little breh and it took him like 15 mins to get from his crib to the bud spot he was going to in NE somewhere.

My wife's best friend lives in Crystal City IN Arlington and it takes all of 5 mins to get to the wharf from there. You bugging.

On the low BMore has a LOT of black-owned spots - seafood and otherwise. I don't see nearly as many in DC.

nikkas who always live in the sticks think it's nothing to drive 20 minutes. It's not like that for city dwellers or tourist.

Right. Such as let down. Especially in Baltimore, most chicken spots are owned by Asians. Before MSU bought out Northwood, Sunny's was the spot for a Chicken Box and a Muddy Water. I asked mine plain no old bay cause I like Creole Seasonings.

Fam, I live in The Bronx. I'm lucky if I can get to the Stadium in 25 minutes. Brooklyn is at least 45 mins away.

20 mins ain't shyt... It takes longer than trying to make a left on gun hill in the morning
