Sammi and Finn and Ziggler have gotten mega pushes? Seriously? :dead:

They featured every week on the show. Are they not?? You acting like they gotta be that dude on the roster. Every position is important.:gucci:

Finn balor was champ before the injury so that's the exception.

These dudes too busy tryna be dean malenko & rey mysterio with the moves.

You can throw some of these Indy guys like Cesaro, the vanilla midgets in the cruiserweight division(to a lesser extent), Apollo crews, who are clearly lacking as far as improving character/personality wise.:dame:

You see how Jericho is doing it. More to than just doing dropkicks, picture perfect suplexes, & backflips

6'1" is a midget now? :martin:

Balor had a freak injury before he even got a chance to really shine.

Zayn? He's never gotten a push. :comeon:

Ziggler? He's been a loser for the last few years and hasn't gotten a real push in a while.
LMAOOOOO Sami has gotten a mega push?? When? And Dolph? he's been on the fukking roster since 2005 and has never once had a "mega push" :dead::dead: Balor? Well he's not even on TV right now, and Rollins won't be on TV for awhile now either. Try again :mjlol:
Sami Zayn, a dude who hasn't won a title or been in any main event feuds, is getting a mega push :laff:
If that or dolph being a jobber for the last 5 years or Finn being there for a month before getting hurt or Rollins losing as frequently as he does constitutes a mega push, I'd love to know what the cena or Roman push is :russ:

Perry Saturn was featured every week when he was befriending a mop and dumping his girlfriend to hang out with said mop. Is that a mega push? Vince writes these guys promos word for word and fines them if they go so much as a word off the script he writes. What exactly are these guys supposed to do?

:laff: @ Here Comes The Pain moving goal posts now. At one point not too long ago, it seemed like Sami was alternating weeks of not even being on Raw, and no, there's no way you can try to rationalize Ziggler getting a "mega push", as if simply being seen = getting a push.

Neckbeard and vanilla midget may be the two worst words/phrases in the wrestling lexicon. :snoop: We've got people calling 6 foot tall wrestlers "midgets".

First off I never said anything about a mega push.

That was @mrken12 with that foolishness.

My point is that these dudes focus to much on the choreography & not enough on the character/personality aspect of pro wrestling which is the most important.

If You on the show every week you're job is important. From the low card to the main event.

The attitude era worked because character/personality flourished from top to bottom which lead to greatness.

The subject of the thread was: "why is wrestling not the same anymore".

You made some lame comment about how being able to do a 450 doesn't make you special.

Why complain about "flippy" wrestling and "vanilla midgets" when they're not even being pushed as the top faces of the company?

Who are you even talking about? :leostare: Name these "vanilla midgets" getting these mega pushes who are killing the business.

Your response:

Seth Rollins, Finn balor, sammi zayn, Dolph ziggler, etc

:mjlol: You put yourself in this dilemma. You gave a bad answer to my question and now it's somehow my fault. :skip:

Call me crazy, but I'd rather not even be on tv than get the treatment that zack Ryder has gotten the last 5-6 years. What good has any tv time done for Titus or Darren young in recent years? What meaningful material have they written for truth or goldust? Anyone think that the bullet club was booked well and that being on tv was good for them with the awful jokes being written or that old day sketch they did? Raw's MVP after they split the brands in the summer was 46 year old Chris Jericho. Jericho is great, but that should drive home how creatively bankrupt these people are that they're relying that heavy on a guy who has been in the ring since before Metallica recorded enter sandman.

Characters flourished because they were allowed to. Guys get punished for getting over now. If you need examples, see dean Ambrose, zack Ryder, bray Wyatt, :bryan:, and Cesaro

My whole point is going over a lot y'all heads because y'all keep bringing up things that ain't even relevant to what I just said.

Jericho is great because he honed his craft as a character/personality and that was before he even got to the wwe.

The new day is doing excellent on that aspect. Stop putting 100% of the blame on the story board people and put more on these wrestlers.

I'm looking at these individual wrestlers & I'm saying dudes need to do better on the character/personality side of the game. Step ya game up.

1 thing I absolutely hate about the titles in the wwe now a days is that they have 4 of them that look the same. I mean overall, all the titles except the IC title look like shyt. Titles used to look prestigious, something a guy would kill himself to get; now a days shyt looks like a prop that is an inconvenience for them to carry
When I was at the Takeover and the Royal Rumble last weekend I saw a bunch of fans with the old block logo WWE/WWF IC belt and tag team championships and the attitude era world title with the WWF scratch logo. Those belts looked so beautiful in person and looked so prestigious. Looked like a belt that a boxer or UFC/MMA fighter would wear to the ring.
