We ALL want love & appreciation from the opposite sex. If you say you don't, you're either lying, or dealing with deep seated depression. We like to go back & forth about people on social media having unrealistic standards, but what are YOU looking for in a potential lover?
For my ideal woman, I'd say.....
1. Practicing Christian-Self-explanatory, we must be equally yoked, you know
2. Educated/intelligent-This is EXTREMELY TRICKY for me, as having a college degree doesn't automatically mean a woman is high quality, BUT at the same time high school dropouts usually have a host of negative qualities, and everyone takes a different path on this road called life. It's on a case by case basis with me. I just ask that she keeps up with current events, is reasonably knowledgeable on history/geography/science/math/politics/economics, and me and her can have deep, stimulating conversations.
3. Sexually attractive to me- I'm not that hard to please in this aspect, for crying out loud I'm attracted to overweight/obese women.
4. Feminine traits-This means a lot to different people lol. For me, it's just dressing classy/elegantly/appropriately in their settings, not going around screaming foul language & drinking/smoking like a sailor.
5. Knows how to cook-Lol, cooking isn't that hard, and she doesn't have to do ALL the cooking, I like cooking
I can do breakfast most days, and she do the rest, with me occasionally helping her with it. 6. Sexually conservative, relatively speaking-Even though I'm waiting for marriage, and I'd love to meet a girl doing the same, I know that in today's oversexed world it's going to be hard to find
I'm not completely naive. However, I'm not trying to marry a pornstar or a stripper. I just ask that your sexual history not be accessible on the Internet & I can take you out in public without guys smirking at us or you running into too many "old friends"7. Romantic/affectionate- I'm EXTREMELY romantic, and I'd LOVE for my wife to be the same. She can appreciate me bringing a bouquet of white roses to her job, candlelit dinners over chardonnay, giving her a full body massage with some Dru Hill in the background, writing her love letters, the whole nine.
8. Financially adept-This is pretty simple. She just can't be an extremely impulsive spender & must know how to budget & save for a rainy day. I'm working hard right now on achieving financial prosperity for myself, because I want to spoil my wife & kids, so hopefully she won't have to strain too much with financial matters.
