So can I honestly say that Eazy E the only rapper that got more underrated after his death?

I am not trying to hear about how he didn't write his own lyrics. The man never wanted to be a rapper to begin with. But he plays a huge factor in the rap game.

With N.W.A., he created this huge umbrella and paved the way for many rappers of today. Like Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg wouldn't be around if it wasn't for Eazy E.

Look - no disrespect or nothing,

But I couldn't tell you whether or not I was hearing a Stack Bundles or Chinx Drugs song.

Wow, what you just said is worse than wishing jail on your enemy. I just want you to know that.

I just want you to know that I didn't know who they were until they died, and if it wasn't for me being on here I might still not know them. Not bagging on them, it's just the truth.

Man, Im from the Bay and this is facts.

Cats wasnt on full jock mode, until he got killed.

Now Dre was "this and that"..but nobody was giving him roses while he was alive..

I never heard of Mac Dre until he died..

When I think of Bay are, I think of Short,40, Spice 1, Luniz, etc. not Mac Dre

Can't believe all these mentions of Big, Pac, Big L, Prodigy and Sean P but not one goddam mention of Pun

Pun was nice and made some good music but I don't know if his rapping style has aged that well

Mac Miller def gonna get overrated if it ain't already happening

Another thing thats overrated is Pac and Biggie being "prophets". Especially Pac. he spent a lot of time thinking about death, and inviting that energy into his life.

Play with fire and you get burned

Yeah everybody basically looks at Pac like he's the Jesus of hip hop...now admittedly he was such a fascinating figure with a fascinating life but remember that he was just a human like all of us at the end of the day

The limitation of what you know is not the proper measure of limitation, just a glaring example of a lack of credibility

Mac Dre was already a legend and his catalog is greater than a Nas or Jay Z. Your shock over this statement has nothing to do with reality but rather your inflated view of these mainstream figures. His catalog greatly exceeds theirs, to call him underrated would be an understatement

When you have to justify greatness in the face of your own mediocrity . . :stopitslime:

There is no record of anyone, any hip hop media house, any hip hop journalist or any hip hop publication ever referring to 2Pac as a 'great rapper' or among the greats at any point before he died. Yet we supposed to believe revisionist children born in 1995 that pac was great. Most overrated rapper ever, especially after death.
You expect bias east coast hip hop magazines to call Pac great when he was beefing with their biggest star?

The hood always loved Pac.
