What do you think Hip-Hop would be like if Tupac and Biggie did their time in the game?

They obviously had a huge impact on the genre and were big artists at the time. What kind of direction do you think rap would've taken if they didn't die? Who might not have started popping like they did?

the same, with really slight changes.
Really? Let's assume that they remain in a good position of popularity and dropped 3 studio albums up until 2004. Rappers would've had more influence from them and listeners would've been more engrossed with that type of music. If that were to happen, would Eminem, Jay-z and Kanye (3 rappers who have given heavy influence to some current rappers) have dropped the same stuff they have, or even break into the mainstream at all?

Pac would become a muslim and start a political party. Start a record label and a write 5 to 10 novels.

Big would fade into obscurity as Puff robs him like every other Bad Boy artist. Bad Boy folds and Big starts a record label and drops 4 independent albums and becomes an actor and wins an Oscar.

It would be much much better, you'd have artists at the forefront with a lot more skill and content and Hip Hop would be better. It's like a sports team losing 2 of their greatest players of all time close together, the team are gonna suffer. They were a huge loss to Hip Hop, as were dudes like Pun etc who could have helped lighten the burden. Obviously some dudes came in and did their thing but there was only 1 Big and Pac. Big's artistry and Pac's content were severely missed mainstream wise, Nas provided great service though about keeping the essence of Hip Hop alive but with Pac and Big it wouldn't have been such a struggle.

Still be around as 90s vets and maybe have hit or miss albums or acting gigs.

As big as they were when they were alive I feel like Snoop was bigger than both of them so I dont even know if they were top dogs per say.
You had other people bigger (Meth/Wu, Fugees, Cube, Snoop, LL, Nas, Bone) in the same time, so I dont know if they would be these dudes the culture revolved around like some say even though thwy were big.
