What is considered a "good" salary?

I live outside of Toronto now and I used to live in West Virgina. I am making 30k more now and things are alright. But down there, when I was making 30k less than what I'm making now I was living like a king.

It's all location.

This is an expensive little suburb, that's for sure. I guess most of GTA is like that now, though

I lived in central Florida, breh. If you can make 45k or above as a single person, you'll live like a king. You can find a nice apartment in 500-800 price range.

I agree. You can definitely make 50k work with a family, but you'd have to downgrade some things. So I wouldn't want to get comfortable at that salary..

Salaries fluctuate from region to region.

And in midtown/Buckhead Atlanta you can absolutely live there on a 50k salary if you really want to.
