Conscientiousness is the most important indicator of success in your life.

A brother I used to work with at my first office gig during college is still there in the same position. Bumped into him in a subway on my day off today and he was talking a bunch of bullshyt. Specifically told him when we first met to soak up all the knowledge there, learn some new skills via asking for more work, put in a year and then bounce together while building a network at the office. shyt that was the plan but he was always saying he never got around to any of it. It wasn't just that but the fact you take what you learn and do more homework at home, by studying and understand the technologies that are demand. Come the following year, I got a new position and bounced while he told me he was still applying. Now the nikka is there 5 years later and still not doing slightly above minimum wage work and he making a couple of bucks more than students in college. Even asked him about his degree and he said he stopped applying because he got a job now.

shyt man. We were the only two brothers there and this guy got too comfortable.

I don't like negative energy, however I contain a fair amount of it. I channel the negative energy to help me strive to progress.

For years I had a red-blooded racist conservative for a supervisor. Instead of lashing out, I made sure she would never check-mate my ass. My disdain for her fueled my growth and helped me to progress. I didn't let the negativity burn me up (although at times, it was very difficult), but instead used it as fuel.

I like to think I'm a nice, giving person. I used to try to be polite to most people, not an ass-kisser at all, but I tried to be cordial.

With that being said, many people mistaken kindness for weakness and try to take advantage.

As a result, negative energy is essential - in my case - in the form of a stoic demeanor :birdman:.

If it wasn't for the @ssholes of the world, my facial expression when in public or the workplace would be that of a happy-go-lucky individual - but that's impossible due to ways of the jungle, in other words, man's primitive nature.

You can't be all positive....a negative charge is vital as well.

We do not have free will imo because our existence isn't even a choice on our part. Nobody alive or dead asked to be born. Our genes influence so many things in our life. I personally believe that personalities are genetic too.

On another note I think that a huge portion of the population is rude af and selfish. Public transit will show you how selfish and inconsiderate a lot of people are.
