The cruisers are the only consistently interesting and fresh thing on Raw right now besides Jericho and they put on fun matches every week, yet dumbass fans keep doing their annoying chants during their matches, and people on Twitter are always shytting on them. Granted their booking so far hasn't been ideal but it's nothing to complain about, and I get that these guys are unknowns so it's not expected they'd get a real reaction, but I guess this what happens when you give marks who don't appreciate the realness the Internet and some stupid chants to get themselves over :manny: Wrestling fans can be straight up garbage sometimes, never knowing what they want

On a sidenote though, Sin Cara need to get up out of there. He's too slow and clunky to keep up and has always wrestled a safe boring bootleg Lucha style (not to mention he like 25 lbs over 205) His whole shtick is obsolete and only muddles things up when you have Metalik, Dorado, and Kalisto on deck, plus they already have enough cruisers I would rather see over him. If they intent on using him in this capacity at least let him go back to the Hunico character or something, all these masks are too much when you're not giving people enough reason to care for them. Like casuals probably thought Metalik and Sin Cara were the same person

Dudes all look the same and the matches are boring in comparison to the older era of Cruiserweights (Rey, Juvy, Malenko, Eddie, Pyschosis, Kidman, Ultimo). They had more character, were more colorful, and did more high risk shyt. Plus they had the benefit of that style being new here in the states.

When the Cruiserweights champs finisher is a leg bar. You have a problem.

The matches have not really been as good as they were in the CWC, and they have some boring characters who look generic like Gulak. I'm familiar with his work, but that type of shyt is not getting a TV crowd excited.

come on OP they've put absolutely zero effort into developing any of these guys as characters.

random tag matches with no introduction aren't helping.

one minute you're watching a commercial for dominoes pizza and then before you know it there's already 2 jobbers in the ring with boring names (tony neese? what?) getting ready take on 2 other guys you've never heard of... putting on the same match you've seen 1000 times before with the same ridiculous spots.

i will say that i like tj perkins though i just wish he had a better gimmick and a better name.

The only CW with an actual character so far is Brian Kendrick, which is why I want him with the title. The problem with the CW division (honestly the WWE as a whole) is that they didn't take the time to actually develop characters. They just showed a couple vignettes then tossed them out there for weekly random matches. Also, it's the WWE's own fault for having these types of crowds. They wanted to appeal to soccer moms and 7 year olds way back instead of appealing to a wide age range and diverse group, and this is what they're left with, a very safe, tame crowd that reacts to certain things because they feel like they're supposed to instead of because they want to.

And as far as WCW CWs, people knew exactly who Rey, Juvy, La Parka, Malenko, Ultimo Dragon, and Psichosis were, and even Elix Skipper, The Artist, and Kid Romeo later on
