The ropes kill it for me.
And Neville should be on smackdown with Kalisto in the CW divison.

The division will be fine once they let them loose a little more. The main reason they signed them was to tour with NXT so they don't always have to keep the big names down in NXT.

I really hope they don't give them their own show on the network, its too much shyt to watch already. Hell I rarely watch NXT or RAW

I think they just signed some of the wrong guys. I'm fine with swan, Cedric, TJP, Nese, Kendrick, Lince, Gran Matlik,

They should have signed that french guy that Lance storm trained. Gallahger, and the Samoan
Gallagher is signed, he's just finishing his indy obligations

Because, just like with the people who aren't cruiserweights, WWE has run on personalities and feuds for as long as it's been running. They can't just sell people who've consistently been given personalities and feuds on "here's a guy wrestling another guy". The WCW cruiserweight division worked back then MOSTLY because the style was something still new to American wrestling, and eventually the most memorable matches from that divison involved feuds. Eddie/Rey, Jericho/Malenko, etc... they gave fans a reason to be interested. The only thing (so far) anyone cares about in the new division is Perkins/Kendrick because there is a feud involved.

Besides Brian Kendrick and Rich Homie Swann, most of these dudes have no personality/charisma whatsoever.

The reasons people loved the cruiserweights in WCW is because they were full of charisma. Jericho, Eddie, Juvi, Rey, OG La Parka, Ultimo Dragon and even Dean Malenko showed personality during their matches and interviews. All of the cruiserweights come across as cornballs right now except for Brian Kendrick.

Dudes all look the same and the matches are boring in comparison to the older era of Cruiserweights (Rey, Juvy, Malenko, Eddie, Pyschosis, Kidman, Ultimo). They had more character, were more colorful, and did more high risk shyt. Plus they had the benefit of that style being new here in the states.

When the Cruiserweights champs finisher is a leg bar. You have a problem.

The matches have not really been as good as they were in the CWC, and they have some boring characters who look generic like Gulak. I'm familiar with his work, but that type of shyt is not getting a TV crowd excited.
its just trash :manny: never saw the appeal

folks are kidding themselves if they think technical wrestling is what draws

Vince doesn't want guys who are athletic to do athletic moves :manny:

shyt is stupid but that's coke for ya :ehh:

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter speculated that Vince McMahon may be behind the slight changes to the cruiserweight division. The WWE Chairman had very little to do with the CWC, but obviously is overseeing the division on RAW.

Noam Dar was backstage at Monday's RAW, but there's no word on when he will make his TV debut.

Juventud Guerrera was swagged the fukk out, Kidman was dope in his FLock Herion Persona, Rey was a super come to life, fukk are yall talking about. did u even watch wcw.

Dean Malenko got over big in the Jericho feud too....Jericho and Eddie definite were connected with the crowd though and Rey is the WRESTLER who won the crowd more than anyone with ring work.

Crowds are worst thing about a lot of the shows these days

Why should they care? Crowd is nuts for Sasha every week. Why? Becaus was proven in NXT. Now they had their top face as like a sidekick to her match and development...clearly more over than Roman, Rusev, and Charlotte last night. The cruiserweights haven't gotten that development yet.

WWE didn't present them right. It was just "here are some guys who do flippy shyt on purple ropes!"

Again, assuming their casual 1.5-2.5 MILLION weekly television fanbase watches that app.

Catering to smarks is going to be the downfall of pro wrestling. Imagine WCW putting the strap on Dean Malenko over Goldberg or Nash. That is exactly what WWE has done in the last three years.

TSC's dunce cap weighing in. WWE brought in $658.8 million in 2015. Did you know thats the highest grossing year for any company in the history of wrestling? Did ya? Huh? Huh?
