Work in dev and we have alot of offshore Indian colleagues and onshore too for the most part I’d say they are very nice and hardworking, pleasant to work with but I’ve had my share of issues with mostly older Indian men (in their 50s) who can be egotistical, rude and like someone stated earlier, stubborn. Also sometimes being too “blunt”, not having the right soft skills to communicate certain pieces of sensitive information to stakeholders.

There's a guy I work with I'm not even sure what he is but he's Arab/Persian descent. He started like a year ago. Super cool actually we work directly with one another but he's overweight and bald. Anyway he initially didn't have any family photos up but put them up one day. Yo, his wife is a fukkin' 10! I was going to ask him how he bagged that, but before speaking realized it's probably an arranged situation. lol

t-dot till they bury me
The ones in my office are very quiet and literally only hang among themselves. They have lunch together and just generally stick with one another. They are mainly in the IT department so I don’t interact with them like that unless we have an issue with our computers or laptops.
Exactly this
I work for one the big 5 Canadian banks
Majority of Indians i deal with are on the dev ops, qe testing side
They roll together everywhere, have lunch together, generally don't mix/mingle with others
No issues dealing with them, so far :manny:
Sometimes the accent though...I have to ask for them to repeat themselves occasionally

They cool for the most part, but sometimes they be withholding information and like to keep it amongst themselves. E.g we're CPQ consultants and previously when I've had an issue they'd be reluctant to share the fix or workaround or even point me towards the right developer to help me.

But I'd say they've changed and are far more cooperative now
when I was cooking we let this girl play music since we all threw music on for the line

she threw on some east indian music :wtf: a server said to never let her put music on ever again

I forgot they can be rude as hell too. I really only liked working with the Indian women on my team they were always sweet to me although my homegirl on the team was saying they were giving her a hard time. You're not alone saying they are difficult to work with.
They would be like "hmm....hmmm" like they understand wht you're saying. And understand nothing. you can explain why they shouldnt do something. And they go and do just that. :mindblown:

they also afraid of the h1b visa being revoked so they kiss ass like a mf to the manager. I got one dude on the team who has gotten 7 ppl fired.
