I wouldnt call the no Carb or keto shyt stupid or anything but the shyt is way more simpler to me...
It's just calorie intake... that's it..
I've been doing this shyt for years...cutting and bulking. I can go from 140-145 to 180-190 easily. Super cut or kinda diesel in months...
Ppl come to me asking about such and such new diet... and I be like

Just watch ur calorie intake...
If u can burn more than u take in, a couple days a week... ur appetite will start adjusting and weight loss will happen.
These certain restrictions on certain food diets.... are scientists trying to find ways for ppl with no discipline to lose weight.. but it seems to take a life time of discipline to keep up with those kinds of diets...
They got fukking apps now that can track ur calorie intake for u easily...
Stop fukking eating like crazy... or if ur gonna eat like crazy, u need to work out even crazier..
My brother in-law is a licensed physical trainer or whatever its called.
And he stands by intermittent fasting...
I can stand by that as well...
