Cut carbs and wonder why you're always lethargic all the time brehs!

On some real shyt, just stay away from bleached enriched flour and any chemically processed carbs and you're good.

Carbs aren't bad, it's all the processing and shyt that they do to it that contributes to unnecessary and unhealthy weight gain.

This a huge reason many if not most fail counting calories soley and try seek other "diets"

With Keto its very hard to over eat, fat is hugely satisfying so you will not feel hungry at all and crave more food. Carbs in my experience and from many others does not do that, most of us could prob eat a ton load of pasta and rice, but would be very hard to eat that volume in a fatty steak.

Also if you add fasting to the mix then your Ghrelin (hunger) hormone reduces massively, but tthats another story.

Restricting in any form, whether it's omitting food groups, or counting calories, is not for me. That's all I say. I've managed to maintain my weight for years now, working out, and eating in moderation, and I'm in my 30s now. Could be genes though. When my mom was alive she was a personal trainer and ate whatever the fukk she wanted, and stayed thin with only 17% bodyfat when she was at her biggest weight(in her 50s), most of her life she was in the 12-14%. She never did these diets, and I don't do them anymore either. In fact, the thought of going on one, literally has me cringing. I'm a big foodie.

Think of carbs another way.

Eating carbs is like putting gas in your car. You need gas to drive. You drive to get from point a to be. If you fill your gas tank and barely drive, then you're not putting miles on your car and more importantly, you're not really traveling. You're basically stuck at home all the time, with a full tank of gas an nowhere to go.

But you're still buying gas. No room in the tank, so now you have a garage full of gas cans. In order to get rid of the gas you have to do a lot of excess driving and the amount of driving you have to do depends on how much gas you have stored in your garage.

It's no different than eating bullshyt everyday. It's a learned behavior. Your body adjusts.

Most people eat for different reason. You emotional eat. You eat because you're bored. Your body says you're hungry when you're really not. You over eat without even knowing it.

The body is a combination of complex cells and organisms. Each responds differently.

I know people who eat fast food everyday and are thin. Genetics plays a part as well.

My body has adjusted to me eating the way I want, I guess. I mean, like I said before, I respect yall that have the dedication to live that sort of lifestyle. I couldn't do it. Just no. I love food, and I am not about that restriction life.

Edited: Everyone thinks their diet/nutrition experts.:mjlol: If yall want to shred, cut carbs, go vegan, whatever else, by all means do it.




I'll continue eating carbs though. :yeshrug:

I've been paleoish for 7 years. I feel better as I get older. I don't believe in the dogma of paleo and if i want some non paleo shyt i'm gonna eat it. I also know there are a lot of great ways to be health and lean without paleo. With that said people are waaaay too carb dependent. I eat fiberous carbs every day and usually don't go over 50g of carbs on non workout days. On days I do legs i eat around 75 g of carbs post workout on top of the 50. On days I do arms I might only eat 25 g of carbs post workout on top of the 50 grams i mentioned earlier. To think you need carbs everyday and you aren't active is :mjlol:. To be active and believe you need zero carbs is equally :mjlol:. There's a lot of bad advice in this thread. You should eat based on your activity levels and earn your carbs. Nothing more, nothing less.

The Keto brehs can never answer why keto is so much more beneficial than a blanced diet of reg macros other than they cant be bothered to count calories. I never got why people say keto is hardcore. I tried it for a few months to see what its about and to see if I couls use it to go sub 10 bf. Its the easiest diet ever. You just eat meat and cheese all day The fukk is so hardcore. Oh youre tired the firsr few days?IDGI

:russ: I don't know why I'm laughing so hard at this. It's true though. But it's true for everybody who's in a camp. Keto cult be doing the most though.

I just did a 24 hour dry fast this weekend for the first time. That shyt was amazing, real talk. Hardcore. I was tired as fukk and had bad breath and BO but it was worth it.

It's just calorie intake... that's it..

If u can burn more than u take in, a couple days a week... ur appetite will start adjusting and weight loss will happen.
These certain restrictions on certain food diets.... are scientists trying to find ways for ppl with no discipline to lose weight.. but it seems to take a life time of discipline to keep up with those kinds of diets...
They got fukking apps now that can track ur calorie intake for u easily...

My brother in-law is a licensed physical trainer or whatever its called.
And he stands by intermittent fasting...
I can stand by that as well...

Diet doesn’t matter, daily caloric expenditure does. You may limit the types of food you eat but calories in/out is all that matters.
