when most ppl consider and talk about "poetry" they're referring to cac poetry and cac standards of poetry

i dont believe rap should be enjoyed just in word form

but I'm not saying the art of poetry or being a gifted writer is a white thing

but I am saying that everything u understand about poetry was decided by white ppl

yes rappers use words in a similar way that poets do

but rap is not supposed to be experienced like poetry

dudes like fetty wap and future are poets, they're just not intellectual poets, nor do they write anything important, but they can convey emotions good. Which is also a talent, some writers can convey emotions some can spark intellect. DMX is one, Jay-Z can do it sometimes, Tupac is probably the best idea though.

Taking away the music is going too far. I don't listen to acapella tracks nor do I need the absence of music to appreciate the lyrics. I do agree with your ending statement.

Exactly that just adds another dimension and takes the artform to a different level. It's one thing to write dope lyrics, it's a completely different skill set to then make those lyrics sound good over a beat.
