It's the crime and abandoned buildings that makes Baltimore unattractive to a lot of folks. I'm there every week, specifically East Baltimore. It's actually pretty nice on Belair Rd, some nice neighborhoods. It's just the area closer to downtown that scares folks with all the junkies and homeless people. People think that's all the city is when it comes to Black people.The sad part is we actually have black folks that buy into it thinking the whole city is like the Wire. When we talk about cities prospering on here Baltimore gets dismissed. You hear more talk about PG county. This thread shows that middle class blacks are eating here. On top of that we have the highest percentage of black owned businesses in the country
