Edelman is the only 'home grown' white receiver.

Rams, Jets, Bills, Dolphins all found the others, Belly just maximized them when he got the chance.

SHHHHH...don't let facts get in the way of the Coli's "Patriots are racist" circle-jerk.

At the risk of gettin hit by the neg train I'm just gonna say it. White players and black players ain't the same. I'm not even saying that white dudes are necessarily smarter. But theres a lot of great black players that were dumb as fukk, but just knew how to play football. Lynch and Marion Barber come to mind. From what I've heard over the years you gotta be a smart player to make it in the Beli system. I mean just look at how things went for Ocho when he went to NE, I thought he was gonna ball out but that nikka was trash. Not sayin he's a dumb fukk, but he looked like a borderline practice squad cut when he was with em. You never see these white boys out in the club gettin caught up in the lifestyle goin broke and shyt, idk maybe they more focused. Not to say it doesn't happen, but its at a much lower rate then our brehtheren. Or maybe they just figured that if you can have some shifty cats on the outside that run great routes and a all time qb to throw at em, you don't need to prototypical receiver.
Sometimes it isn't about natural IQ and intelligence...but discipline.

You got great black players like Aqib Talib (CB for Denver) who is a great corner but he does dumb shyt. White players can do dumb shyt too but our bruhs tend to fuk up a lil more in that area. Beli aint gonna take a lot of BS. Look at him not keeping Jonas Gray 2 years ago...he did great against Colts but him being late to practice and not showing up...Beli aint gonna have that.

Their motto is Do Ur Job and be professional.

One advantage that white pro players have is that their fathers and mentors played the sport and they pass on that knowledge. Whites do that more than blacks and not just football but with their life experience and their businesses and shyt they own. Like Peyton and Eli's father was a QB and he taught their sons how to play. That teaching from being a young boy is invaluable. A lot of black players grew up in one parent homes (not all) and they didn't get that knowledge so their IQ isn't on the level as some of their white counterparts until they get the experience and proper coaching to catch up. Whites tend to place a better foundation for their youth and set them up in a good system so they wont fail.

Beli loves to buy low and sell high. He does this at so many positions. Look at our defense. White receivers tend to have low value placed on them...ironically, in large part because of the mentality being expressed in this thread. That's cool, tho, we'll continue to eat :eat:
An example that comes to mind is Derelle Revis. Instead of resigning him to a high dollar contract...he let him go. Beli kinda knew that his production was going to decrease. His ability to forsee that and sign Malcolm Butler for cheap and minimum wage, let Brandon Browner and Kyle Arrington go and to get good production from Butler, Logan Ryan and Rowe...smart man. His ability to spot a diamond in the rough is noteworthy. That's how he always able to field a team that is a contender or at least very competitive. I think of the many no name receivers that Brady have to work with. Its always someone on that team that makes a play...a no name player a lot of times.

TYRONE GA!
It's like they drive by the local YMCA and just find a 5'10 white dude, give him a contact . plug him into the system and turn him into a superstar.

Tom Brady is like the Gucci Mane of football, he just make random dudes that were nobodies last week...stars.

:dead:

to be fair, there are parts of boston, and western mass. especially, that are racist. but it's also obvious looking at some of these comments that a lot of people have never been to boston, and have an opinion that's been informed solely by the opinions of others.

It's just annoying how I can't get through a thread on the Patriots/Celtics/Red Sox without some dumbass/misinformed posters smearing Boston and/or MA as a hotbed of racism.

And, ironically, a lot of these brehs support teams based out of Dallas, Atlanta and New York of all places yet are crying about racism in Boston.

This Coli narrative that Boston is racist and so are their sports teams has GOT TO STOP.
