Can't believe nikkas in here was saying nobody improved on our team.
Jerami Grant was a 2nd round pick who was a fringe NBA player when he started here has turned into a near top 10 shot blocker and one of the best rim protectors in the NBA in just 2 years. He's developed a handle that he didn't have before and he's a 3pt shot away from being a real problem in the NBA and he's only 21.
Robert Covington was a D-League player who couldn't get a chance in the league and within 2 years he is lowkey one of the best 3 and D wings in the league and on a very good contract.
Other players have improved on our team as well but the record isn't going to show that and you wouldn't know that by just looking at box scores. You'll probably just laugh at the players I named because these guys are bench players on other NBA teams that nobody knows but if they weren't in Philly they would receive more of the spotlight for the things they do.
To make definitive statements on 19-23 year old players like they don't improve is just stupid. I can't believe people are finished with Okafor after 1 year and are judging him based on this tumultuous situation he was placed in. No rookie player would have positive advanced numbers on this team because it's severely and negatively skewed by the quality of the team. If you can't see that then you're an idiot.
