Thing is, if this happened two years ago he would already be wrestling again (same with Christian). It's just that WWE is in too much legal trouble regarding not taking care of it's employees that they can't risk anything, specially with a delicate subject like concussions.
I get the sentiment of people wanting DB to take care of himself or WWE not letting him fukk his brain up anymore. But it's kinda weird he's pretty much the first wrestler in history to get that kinda treatment by fans in his prime. People weren't saying shyt about Kurt Angle for 6 years and he was in worse shape than D-Bry.
I'ma an a$$hole and want to be entertained by my favorite wrestler, if he's cleared to wrestle and he's gonna do it anyway (regardless of what's more "safe" for him). Then let him do it
Exactly how many concussions has he had in the WWE?
At least 2 that we know of. During his time in the indies, who knows how many he had that he worked through.
During his indy run he admitted he had multiple concussions in like 2004 or 2005. That's a five year gap before he got to the E and he worked even harder in those years. When he said it, concussion weren't seen as the problem we know they are now though, he just said like "yeah, I've been concussed like 10 times, that's wrestling

".
