Ehh, it was always corny. Urban trends don't stand the test of time. I don't think I ever had any of that ish, did have some Mecca and enyce. I'm 33, polo, Levi's, etc for me. Btw, I hit a Macy's and found some polo denim and supply jeans that were regular priced 145, some guy wife bought em and took em home to her man. He didnt like em, brought em back to the store, why did i get them joints for 18.99 :smugfavre:

All hip hop related clothing lines usually have a short shelf life. From Mecca to Lugz to FUBU to Akademiks these type of lines are lucky if they have a five year run as being hot.

Simple.
Over exposure on anything kills its exclusiveness - thats the main reason people stop wearing a designer brand.
Happened with Tommy Hilfiger, Ed Hardy.. and I can see True Religion going under next.

Once the exclusiveness goes, and people stop wearing, one of two things happen...
The price stays the same and even less people bother as its not exclusive but expensive.
The price goes down to the point where its not designer anymore.

With FUBU you have the situation above, plus the fact that people dont rock baggy clothes so much.

The brand as a whole is worthless unless they start from scratch.
