Whose career is honestly the most disappointing- CP3, D12 OR Melo?

I'm reading this thread like :dahell: Are yall negroes crazy? It's easily BarfMelo, CP3 has had a way better career in less time in the league

CP3: 9X All Star
4X All NBA 1st Team
3X All NBA 2nd Team
1X All NBA 3rd Team
6X All NBA Defense 1st Team
2X All NBA Defense 2nd Team
Rookie of the Year
All Star Game MVP
4X Assist Leader
6X Steals Leader

LardMelo:

10X NBA All Star
2X All NBA Second Team
4X All NBA Third Team
1 time scoring champ

For Melo to be considered "the best pure scorer in the NBA" for so many years yet to only have 1 scoring title is pathetic. No All NBA First Team appearances, one of the worst playoff winning percentage at 34% (with a career record of 22-42) and hasn't made the playoffs since the 2013-2014 season. He clearly has had the most disappointing career, it's not even close

Can't really fault CP3

For a 3 years stretch the Clips were legit but had to go through OKC, Memphis and the Spurs every year?
That was doc rivers fault and deandre. You needed a young wing player who possibly could have been developed by now for their system. Then deandre never felt the urge to get an offensive game the real reason he didn't want to leave.

Cp3 never made to the conference finals like melo & Dwight have.

I think cp3 needs to play with a dominant scorer.

If a young melo went to the pistons or a another team in the eastern conference he would've gotten to the finals at the least. Melo was a beast during his time with the nuggets.

Melo. I mean Bron is making Melo's career look like shyt.
That's the retarded part. Bron is a once in a lifetime player who is used to slight Melo who is the classic great SF along the lines of Dantley, Aguirre, Gervin, King and others

beat me to it :ohlawd:

Chris been going to war in the west his whole career....and he's 6-0 point guard...how many of those are carrying squads to finals appearences and shyt...A.I.? Once?

Dude spent most of his career being considered the best pg in the league in an era stacked with great point guards.

Lebron walking around talking bout he aint go no rivals cause Melo could never get his shyt together

And i will never ever ever forget when the league debuted them all star jackets with the accolades on them and Melo had one patch...and it was the patch that comes with the jacket!!!

If I made an all time list CP3 would be high than the other two. :yeshrug:

I'd say talent wise he has lived up to his potential. He's an all-time great PG.

So if we're talking about who has failed to reach their ceiling its Dwight.

If we're talking about who has failed to succeed I still would give it to Melo since he's not even in a position to win anymore.

Melo and "great" shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence breh. Melo at his peak was a very good scorer who didn't play defense, play team ball or win in the playoffs.

Melo and CP3 are both relics of a time gone by when you had to be super dependent on your small PG to set everything up because they were the only one's that could and when your elite wing could just put their head down and score. In today's league your best players are wings that combine those attributes. Dwight was done once he's back got fukked up, he was a beast when healthy but he certainly feasted off the derth of quality bigs.

All of the Conference Finals mentions :laff:. People have really tried to make that into some end all be all accomplishment just to :cape: for Melo :mjlol:.He has missed the playoff 4 years in a row in the East. Funny how all that bu...bu...but the East stuff goes out the window there. There is no excuse for his squads finishing behind some of the squads that they have over the years. nikkas straight act like the last 7 years (yeah he's been in the east as long as he was in the west) didn't happen (except for the 54 win season that of course was all him unlike the other 6 years) or cop pleas, pleas they would never accept for others.

If we are talking "disappointing" then it's all about what they were expected to be. Melo was supposed to be the Bird/Magic to Bron's Magic/Bird. Neither Dwight or CP3 had such expectations entering the league. Let's put it like this...if I went back in time and told you before each guy entered the league that his career would unfold like it has who's actual career would make you most :stopitslime:? It's gotta be Melo easy.

Melo isn't a great scorer now?

What did Gervin, King, Dantley and other greats do defensively at SF?
