You don't have to 'bust your ass' to have a good QoL. The problem is they think it should be given rather than earned.

Here's an example: I know a kid (17) that lives at home, doesn't pay any bills, yet wants a car. I showed him this....

He turned his nose up.
There were two young kids 15-16 in the parking lot of a chick fil a begging for money. I asked them, why won’t they go inside of the store and apply for a job and them niccas had all the excuses in the world. Some people are just extremely lazy :snoop:

He just got his CDL license 5 months ago, and he's complaining about how his new job is not paying him enough
He said that his manager keeps getting on him because he's too slow with deliveries, but he's learning. He called me to vent and say he wants another job

I said "yeah you can do that, but does your job offer overtime? That would make your pay much better while you gain experience"

Young Breh: "Me, work overtime? I don't know about that. I don't want to work that much hours"

I'm thinking to myself like, wouldn't that solve all of your problems? :why:. He's still against doing that. Is this a new epidemic with so much young people not wanting to put in the hours to build their career?

Don't be afraid to work overtime young brehs, especially early in your career

You can work OT and still not make nun worthwhile if his base pay low though

The incentive isn't there.

What a lot of you "pull yourself up by the bootstrap" cock suckers don't understand is that people are being paid less and less when compared to the cost of living.

If working overtime would allow them to make meaningful contributions into a savings for their deposit or would push them towards a promotion where they would earn more money, more people would do it.

As it is, it doesn't outweigh the peace of mind they get from having time to themselves.

What do you consider 'low'?

Shii frfr, I look at it personally On cost/length of training requirements to get the job and what I can get in a similar field with dem same credits. Or were wanting like a figure? He got his CDL so he can fit anywhere. Pavement, the city/county/state

Sorry that offends you, but if you're 17 and want a car, you can't expect it to just fall into your lap.
Who is to say he wants it to fall in his lap?

That's the problem with dikk heads like you. You refuse to use your brain when it comes to things like this. He's 17. Naturally he wants a car. That doesn't mean he is in a rush to get one.

He's still at highschool. Graduating should be his priority. Pointing out that he still lives at home and isn't paying rent as though it means something is dumb. He's a minor.

You can't comprehend why people wouldn't want to work more than necessary

Majority of the country have been indoctrinated by the prosperity preachers better known as "economist" in this country.

People have gotten smarter,Ive educated thecoli on the scam before. Work hours havent declined in 70 years. When that had always been the case with innovation prior.

Now they try to sell you on innovation, while not reducing hours. And not substantially increasing pay due to record profits. Its a sick game,I unfortunately have to play. If you need to work 60 hours to free yourself from this Europeans sick monopoly game,I suggest you do it. You dont have time to try to convince these corporate puppets to protest with you:respect:
