This in bold. I see this being a major problem with some dudes. Some dudes do get intimidated because women are put on a very high pedestal and they got the power especially if u nervous and lack confidence. You got to talk to a woman like she just another person and stay in or around ur lane. The nervous energy that people can project can turn into negative energy and it can mos def repel people. It will show with ur body language and actions. Like how when u first meet people and some may come off as weird, nervous, standoffish, or whatever...then when u get to know them...u see a different side of them once they let their guards down and get comfortable.

I think the pedestal thing is overblown because I think most people are intimidated by strangers in general. You don't see people just walking up to people randomly, kicking convo, because of the risk that person doesn't want to be bothered. You wait for natural situations to actually meet new people and friends, but when it comes to women it can be different because there might be women that you see out and about that you are more attracted to then the women in your circle if any.

The remedy to this is to develop your social circle to the point where you interact with women that you are attracted to. And this is what most men do. But just because attractive women are in your circle and you end up wifing some chick from school, church, work or whatever, doesn't mean you are an expert at approaching women. You just waited for a situation where it was much easier.

I just think it comes down to not wanting to be rejected. Most guys are stuck in their comfort zone, so talking to a woman can feel really abnormal if they're not accustomed to doing this. At the end of the day, rejection is part of the game. No one wants to feel the burn of rejection, but it certainly beats the poisonous feeling of regret. That's much worse than some woman rejecting your advances. There's also the thought of being embarrassed, though this is really overblown. I know some brehs who've been rejected harshly and laughed it off. I've also known some who were rejected harshly and it made them shell-shocked. You just gotta be willing to walk outside of your comfort zone and be vulnerable.
