Why does CNN and MSNBC continue to cover Trump?

Actually they don't really cover him. They cover the investigation into him but not him directly.

I was trying to find his cpac address from last Saturday and nobody aired it, not even fox. Not even on YouTube.

They aren't broadcasting any of his events anymore.

The real question is why are the Republicans still up his ass? They don’t even have other people seriously ready to run in the next election. I mean I see people say the Florida Governor might be the guy but I don’t see it.


Also it would help if people would interact more online with other news thats not Trump related. These news sources see hundreds and thousands or comments under Trump posts and think that’s what’s hot in the streets. They could post 5 straight non Trump related stories and get no kinds of traction.. Post Trump and covid stories and they go super viral.

They plan on taking Congress next year and retaking the White House in ‘24 and then according to them “the backlash will come.”

Trump lost because of COVID.

Just because cable news call themselves news doesn't make them so. They are now like 90% infotainment and 10% actual news if something big enough happens that they must cover it.

When people think of news in the traditional sense, they think about reporting on current events, including those that have nothing to do with politics or the two American parties. Yet, cable news is 90% just a reporting and gossip on American political figures and political intrigue. That isn't news. That's basically talk radio in TV form now.

Folks who travel outside of the country can attest to this. Seeing news outside of the US is jarring in how different it is. Even CNN international which broadcasts outside the us is totally different than the american station. It's just straight reporting on events around the world while the US channel is filled with opinion shows. Stark contrast.
