Why does CP3 continue to get a pass, but Melo gets fried on the regular?

Oh, so two wrongs make a right now? :ohhh:

No lebron has deserved the criticism beyond just his passive play yet Paul escapes it because his teams weren't favored :stopitslime:. Its called a double standard. He should be criticized justly imo.

a better defender

:what: How??? Westbrook doesn't execute any fundamental aspect of defense better than Paul, not to mention:

He has more all defensive first teams :umad:
More all defensive second teams :umad:
He's @ least made any fukkin' defensive team :umad:
He has a higher DRTG :umad:
He has more steals :umad:
More steals titles :umad:
More DPOY votes :umad:

I think we can both agree on this: both players have received unjust criticism for certain mitigating factors outside of their control

Lebron has to an extent Paul rarely gets criticized for anything. Now this just a projection had the Clippers gotten KG and others and they flopped the criticism would have fallen on everyone but Paul.

Because Chris Paul is arguably the greatest PG in NBA history. No PG in the game today is matching him in PER, AST%, STL%, TS%, TOV%, OTRG%, DTRG%, WS/48. Since the ABA-NBA merger, Paul has the highest PER, ORTG, and WS/48, 2nd in AST%, 4th in TS%, and 3rd in DRTG. Magic only has a higher TS%, and Isiah Thomas trails him in every category. Stocton ties him in 2 categories, beats him in 3, yet Stockton's TOV% is 56% higher. :whew: :whew: :whew:

What all has Melo done? Been a cheap man's version of Dominique Wilkins? :childplease:

Actually, if you adjust the pace, Nique and Melo are like the same player but one is more skilled(Melo) and one is more athletic(Nique)

CP3 is one of the greatest PG's I've ever seen. His BBIQ, ability to run a team, his ability to create for others and himself is 2nd to none. He needs to do himself some justice and come to Atlanta to play with Horf and bring D12 along. :whoo: :obama:

I'd love to see that. A good Black man such as himself, and his family deserve a city like Atlanta that treats Blacks better than Cali, and Atlanta could use his good citizenship and hospitality :obama: But we both know those chances are kinda remote; he has this sick love affair w/ Los Angeles for some STRANGE fukkin' reason......... :scusthov: :mindblown:

There's plenty of PG's that aren't good passers.

Remember, we're in the era of shoot 1st PGs. AKA SGs masquerading as PGs

Yeah true. It aint Melo's job to know how to pass though is all I was saying.

James has brought a lot of those criticisms upon himself tho, w/ all his Looney Tune antics

It's where he plays. Trust me, if he still played in Denver you wouldn't hear any of this, cause nobody cares about places like that unless they use them as chic picks to come off different from everybody else. Look at Golden State or Memphis. The Clippers have always been an after thought or butt of jokes and had the Lakers playing in the same building so, despite being in LA, they fit the same mold.

Then there's also the media's obsession with head coaches and seeing them as deities. You get that "coach killer" tag, you're fukked:ufdup: You exercise your right to be a free agent (especially if you're leaving a small market for a big one) and you're fukked:ufdup: God help you if you're ever viewed as "holding the team hostage"

It's basically a mixture of regional inferiority complex and wanting nikkas to know their place. If you're in a small market and or come off as if you know your place then you're good. Winning championships is the only remedy if you don't meet that criteria.
