Why does CP3 continue to get a pass, but Melo gets fried on the regular?

because white people don't like melo.

This is definitely part of it .... Look at how the media can't wait to make excuses for cp3 soon as he loses and it was the same with bron . Mysterious knee injuries made him quit vs the celtics his last year in Cleveland or he's fatigued anytime he plays bad and cp3 is always not healthy or doesn't have enough help .
Melo shoulder has a tear throughout the playoffs and they wanted to pretend like he was missing shots due to strictly defense and ball hogging . :what:

But does the shoe not fit tho? As far as individual talent, and PG prowess, is Chris Paul not pound-for-pound @ the cream of the crop?

he's not even the PG in the league today IMO.

parker
westbrook
healthy rose

conley averaged more assists than him in that series.

33-year old billups gave him that work in 09.

dude plays like he's protecting his stats. he dribbles, dribbles, dribbles until he finds a teammate to get an assist. that's why his teams are constantly amongst the slowest teams in the league.

@Youngdev see what I'm talking about? :mjpls:

Melo is ranked fine. In every Melo thread you in there calling him overrated. National media most journalists and analysts have him in the 7 to 10 range, which is fine.

Like I said cut that bullshyt out.

What makes Parker and Westbrook better than Paul? Paul's a better floor general than Parker, and stratospheres ahead of him defensively. And he's an actual PG that plays within' himself, actually knows how to run an offense, and is more efficient than Steve Francis part 2. I won't even entertain that Rose mention :mjpls: :mjpls:

I think the perception is Paul is a 6'1 PG out of Wake Forest who has overachieved in the NBA, by becoming the star that he is today

The Perception of Carmelo is a 6'8 forward who won a National Championship his Freshman Year in college who has underachieved his NBA career

Bottomline, few people expected Paul to succeed as he has out of college in contrast to Melo who was the second coming next to Lebron

You niqqas over analyze Sh!t for real :pachaha:

Melo is a top 10 player at his worst and this season he played closer to top 5 then bottom 5 In my opinion . But in any result he's a "superstar" meaning he's marquee and can lead a team to the playoffs . The Melo critics though will never give the guy any credit , he can't be the best scorer he never won a scoring title ( he wins it and they say he didn't deserve it ), he underachieves ( Knicks were picked to do nothing this season and he leads them to a division title , 2nd seed and 50 wins ) he never improves ( improves defensively and wins a scoring title ) loses in the playoffs he gets killed yet George Karl gets a pass . People say the Knicks suck and jr isn't a second option yet they laugh at the Knicks losing in 6 games in the second round is Melo underachieving with a sucky team . Cp3 loses in the playoffs he has no fault , Melo loses in the fist round with banged up rosters well Melo just sucks .

List your top 5 players , the fact you didn't means you were bout to annoint a bunch of players .

Players I'd take over Melo.

Lebron
Kobe
Westbrook
Parker
Duncan
Durant
Paul
George

When healthy Rose, Wade, Dwight and Curry.

I'm sure I'm forgetting others as well.
