Why doesn’t Drakes music have replay value anymore?

His last album with serious replay value was Views, but a lot of you are capping by saying he's been washed.

Her Loss was his best album in about 5 years, and a better rap album from front-to-back than just about anything that anyone released post-2020.

This is what happens when you put out too much music to be fair, it all starts sounding the same.

I think a break from music would be good for Drake so he can take his time to put out better quality stuff.

True, but at the same time things've changed. If you dont constantly be out in peoples faces and drop music they'll forget about you and replace you with some other clown.

What you sayin fit more back in the day. Snoop Dogg coasted off Doggystyle for 3 years?! Big took 2 and half after R2D!

But that was then

I get what you saying but I don't think that applies for top artists that is in the game already. People will always love quality music regardless of how long it takes to develop.

If Jay Z came out and announced another solo album people will be hyped to listen to it.

Jay-Z is different tho. He already has a legacy hence why he can fall back and come back. Plus, becuz of his marriage and being apart
of the culture he's still seen and posted in blogs, tabloids etc very often. He transcended after he got with Beyonce.

The average artist cant really do that imo.

There was a time for fake, superficial shyt. But with the state of the world, there's no more need for that fake shyt. People are waking up and realizing that life's not just some big party all the time.

Square biz. Like if I want to listen to fake shyt, I'll watch wrestling. I mean I get it, music is creative and yes artists fabricate a lot of shyt like busting guns and having 360 walls, but the brick is so high, dealers selling rat poisoning calling the shyt "loud and proud". We are in the worst inflation that would make Jimmy Carter become atheist. Why would a breh listen to Drake's bullshyt, when they can barely get out of bed due to crippling depression.

How can you be a "bad bytch" with a Cashapp?

How you can dance and get turnt to Afrobeats when the opps in the shiesty's plotting to kill you and post it on some dark web social networking site?

We are in the WOAT time to fabricate because illusion is becoming reality. We are looking at empires crumble in 4K with good bandwidth. In the immortal words of some Detroit dude that's scared of a nerd:

My wife don't like my album, it's way too dark for women
She say it sound like I hold grudges
She rather listen to Joe Budden's, no disrespect aight?
But fukk a party now and everybody like...

No clue, don’t really listen to him. I enjoyed a few tracks from her loss and agree More Life is the last album where I skimmed it and came away with multiple songs. But he’s never been heavy in my rotation - but given album streaming numbers, someone is still listening :yeshrug:

I like 21 savage at certain times, and certain occasions, so that's literally the only reason I heard a song from that album...
