It's the fact that his fans bring up radio/sales more than anyone, while Cube, Nas, Rakim, and KRS fans bring up albums. I hear Nas fans talking about their favorite albums and where they were in life.

All Drake stans say is how much people are listening to that sound. How everywhere they go, clubs, parties, on the road, all they hear is that sound. And how Drakes mixtapes sell more than nikkas albums. And his throwaways are getting more play than the records that labels push for their artists. And how hes on a commercial run thats unprecedented. And how if it ain't Drake then it ain't getting any play.

So that validates the question "why no numbers ones?"

Also as you said, The Beatles have 27#1 singles. Drake's #1's are only on the Hip Hop and RnB charts. That's nice but nationally his songs ever shut sh!t down on the Level of the Beatles. They are comparing IYRTITL having all those digital songs chart is the same as the Beatles have SINGLES charts and a lot of then went #1 on in the entire U.S. And when Biggie broke the Beatles Record when "One More Chance" came in at #5 and when "Crossroads" Beat the Beatles record, both of those were more impressive than what Drake just did. All those songs charted cause of the way the digital era is where album cuts can chart too.

White people love Drake, and white people are some of the only few who are still buying hiphop albums. I can't agree with your point at all.

Trinidad James is more popular than Immortal technique, but Drake is more popular than both of them combined. It has very little to do with white perception, or looking like a fool, unless you believe Drake is out here c00ning it up, which is a different discussion.

I don't hate Drake. I like Drake music. This question was sort of a set up, but it's still valid, and is exposing a lot of these stan's mentalities around here. They are attacking OP, attacking the time the thread was posted, being sensitive, and generally beating around the bush to not answer a simple question. Drake is the most popular hitmaker in today's hiphop climate. Why doesn't he have a #1 record yet?

Where you go from there is up to you. I think it shows a lot about his sustainability that these records are charting just because of his name, and quickly falling out and losing steam. The man has suspect longevity, and we could talk about it, but his stans are too busy being sensitive to have the conversation.
