On a simple cartoon show for example

This episode of Futurama, for instance, titled “In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela”, broadcasts Christian messages which are subconsciously taken up by the viewers, which in America are counted in the millions, and in this way, the church is basically able to use its own vast hoards of wealth to influence the entire population to think along religious lines, just as if they still attended church.

So in the episode, the charachters are all creating a very silly fuss over debauchery and wear monk robes and put on great airs of living as chaste saints. Through the episode, the whole “purity ring” sermon is being broadcast therefore, because the robot Bender is scolded for being sexual during this time of the regular cast of charachters acting very chaste, and this therefore beoadcasts the message that sexuality corrupts purity - a very false, religious message to be sure.

It cannot be treated like an open sermon otherwise the American people would revolt, so the message is simply manipulatively suggested using the television as a propeganda tool to broadcast Christian false teachings into American homes - so even through shows like Futurama that are full of drugs, alcoholism, swearing, and trash. Because actually the church does not care at all if it broadcasts filth into the home, so long as it can still keep its falseness and unnatural teachings being constantly reminded in the minds of the American people so that they have an extremely difficult time living a life of real peace and freedom.

The President of the United States takes his oath of office with his hand on the Bible and asked for God's assistance in performing his job

after running on a campaign of xenophobia, fear mongering, lies, and hate..... if the bible really meant something to them.... they would've put their hand on it before campaigning and made it their platform..... but the bible doesn't mean shyt in America....... and how does it effect your day to day

"According to a 2014 study by the Pew Research Center, 70.6% of the adult population identified themselves as Christians, with 46.5% professing attendance at a variety of churches that could be considered Protestant, and 20.8% professing Catholic beliefs."

My point was that that particular episode of futurama displayed how the church manipulates the minds of Americans by using the media. And so, since the church is very active in broadcasting its message into American homes and does this through subtle programming every single day, because it has enough wealth to buy influence into basically whatever creative property it wishes in order to misuse whatever popular broadcast program for the further spreading and maitaining of its influence in the USA, then the American people live very deeply embroiled in religiousity every day, and this is no doubt why there get to be more wild, fanatic believers in the USA over any other developed country on Earth, and it is without a doubt a major contributor to why America is such an intolerant, closed-minded and arrogant country... evidence already by the responses in this thread

:dahell: compared to Europe and Canada

TV and media in the USA are very heavily saturated with Christian themes and values

Christian propeganda is even the very thing that makes perverse sexual acts even appear thrilling for being taboo in the first place.

Church and state are not seperated in America

I gotta get out of here :snoop:

That stuff died, started dying in late 00's

I understand what you said and I agree. I'm also a Christian so I do draw the line at some point with your perspective.

We live in a very puritanical society with the illusion of choice. One only needs to read some of the posts in the locker room to see that a lot of the ideas that they hold are actually religiously based- from HOHs to some other things they tend to parrot.

Well I'm glad the tinfoil hat you wear has been able to protect you from all of this subtle programming that happens to us daily so you can educate all of us.

Also, if you believe that America has the most religious fanatics, you clearly have 0 idea as to what is happening or has ever happened in the rest of the world
