There is far more Christian influence in the nation's politics than in Western Europe to be honest which are the industralized countries you can compare the US. Some of the rhetoric by public officials do sound like they are in developing countries. Political candidates have to project this strong family man/woman image in running for office. While in France you have unmarried Presidents with the girlfriend acting as 1st lady followed by another one who is also unmarried has an affair while in office. The evangelical voting bloc is still quite strong in Republican circles as well, just about all the candidates have to kiss that ring.
But when will this change breh :mjcry:

God doesn't have anything to do with religion...... matter of fact, people in America revere and worship new GODS every other decade or so......... shyt is blatant....
Every example I gave, except the currency one, had an openly Christian context. I don't know why you quoted me.

You're conflating prudeness with sensationalism.... and also, their should be parameters in place for TV programming when it comes to kids watching...... the outrage about the Janet incident was mostly manufactured...... this is the same country that will gleefully allow your 13 year old watch a woman get fukked by a mule within a few clicks..... the cognitive dissonance yall cats be on..... :wow:
It wasn't manufactured. It was a sad and horrific event, that has scarred millions of children. They had to stand by and watch adults bicker and act like idiots over the one of the dumbest things imaginable. They've also realized how absurd Christians can be, and the sad level of influence they have on America.

Only one suffering from cognitive dissonance is YOU! You keep missing my points and throwing out these half ass examples trying to display how america ain't religious.

I'm done

Government to look at 'best practices' of Sharia courts
The Government is to launch an investigation into whether sharia courts operating in the UK discriminate against women – legitimising forced marriages and issuing unfair divorce settlements.

The Home Office said it would examine claims that sharia courts – or councils - may be working in a “discriminatory and unacceptable way”, seeking to legitimise forced marriage and issuing divorces that are unfair to women, contrary to the teachings of Islam. However, it will also seek out examples of best practice among sharia councils.

America is "so" religious because what happened in Europe did not happen here.

It's all in the Socio-historical/chronological context.

Also, 'religiosity' isn't necessarily a negative thing. Look at Russia/China/North Korea/Cuba/etc.

Ask yourself this: If 'religion' is so bad, why is it that those who believe religion is harmful have caused more harm to humanity in trying to get rid of it in the past 100 years than ALL religions.....COMBINED......in the past 3,000 years????

No it did not.... let's take your currency example..... what is explicitly christian about the images/phrases on money..... the slogan In God We Trust is a lot more benign that the images of the SEAL, Pyramids, etc, that are placed on money.... matter of fact, do you know which GOD they are referring too.... also, it can even be said that the slogan was printed on paper money as a marketing campaign against communism....

shyt is a game...... and yall looking for scapegoats to blame....

Isn't there a set of encyclopedias that detail every war/conflict that occurred on the globe over the last millennia or so?
