Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Mid sized towns are GOAT, I dont understand people who wanna live in big city, crammed with millions of people. I love the quiet surbaban life

And some people don’t understand how someone can live in a quite suburban life that was initially built out of racism to keep people separate.

Different strokes for different folks.

I personally hate the burbs.

I wonder how does the person working at mcdonalds, burger king etc. afford to live in those cities.

With these prices how can the person making your coffee etc. live there

That California Lifestyle ...
Do you mind breaking down your budget because I just took your salary and put it in The Income tax calculator using California and according to the numbers it shouldn’t be hard to get an apartment with a 200K salary. So I’m assuming everything else after rent is what messed you up? Did you have a car?

I also know the BART runs to Oakland and Oakland is a bit cheaper.

Are you frugal with money?

200 k + COL / BayArea - (Thismexicanbrehisfullofshyt) = :duck:

In NYC it’s mostly public housing, or rent regulated apartments meaning they probably still pay $900 a month for an apartment they got in 1997. If they are under 30 they probably still live at home.

For immigrants this is simple they work multiple jobs and are married and pool their money together.

The Pakistani Dunkin donut workers seem to always be comfortable for some reason?

:ohhh:

I just applied to an analyst job in Raleigh and the salary isn’t so bad. But I’d still have to partially live in NYC because I have to take care of my parents.

Sister works in film so she is way to busy to pay mind to them.

Also throw in Illegals to the mix they've fukked up the ability for Native Citizens to work the lower income jobs and have effectively fukked up the job market for all of us.

Not to mention the illegals who make $20+ an hour doing labor jobs that could feed a breh and his family then some.

I know it's easier said than done, but this would have been an opportunity to start a cleaning business and look for a large contract. They can try getting a government contract to provide cleaning services or partnering with real estate firms for clean out or cleaning the home after it's been rehabbed. Most businesses contract out cleaning services now.
There's just not enough opportunity for a lot of people to be doing that. It's competitive and the only way you get in is to be lucky enough for somebody to fold. Which never happens I'd imagine. It's cut throat in the big cities.

Whenever I hear someone say they struggling I like to know the breakdowns of their budget before I feel sorry for them.
Especially earning 200k.

If you aren't living decent with those wages then you're extremely bad with money.

Dude is either lying or his budget consist of a $1000+ luxury car note and buying bottles of ace of spades in the club every weekend.

Struggle with 200k brehs.
