Most blacks don't understand how white supremacy works and of the public figures who do understand what it is/how it works, only a few have the courage to honestly call it out and speak against it. Of course there's no incentive for whites to listen to blacks who call them out for their racism. He's right it is our responsibility to fix our own community. At the same time that doesn't take white ppl off the hook when it comes to taking responsibility for how we got in this position.

What white people want is for history to be rewritten to make it seem like the black man brought himself to this land and is in his current position because he doesn't "love and respect" himself. Part of the solution imo is black people learning their history and the things whites did to us to make us believe the things we do about ourselves.
