People believe what they want. It's not a gender thing. It's a generational thing. Disney, romance and chick flicks have people confusing infatuation with love. Simply put infatuation is about what you can get from a person, love is about what you give to a person. Love the love who loves you. Reciprocity is to be cherished. If I love you, I want to see you happy.

Word up. I can't agree with a lot of y'all in here. Women can love unconditionally. It's this generation that got y'all thinking all women are out for themselves. The media has a big influence on who we choose to fall in love with. U cant find a wife or down as chick in the club or on instagram. There's subtle signs that they're out for self. I've been broke behind on bills had to borrow money from her. My pride wouldnt let me ask. Working 2 part time jobs tryna keep up with bills/rent. No car and numerous broke down cars with her in it. Stuck in NY with no way back. She cancelled her show she had to do to stay with me. Called peoples for us to get back home. I went yrs without having a legit career. Been with her for 7 8 yrs thru all the ups and downs. This girl took me to Paris for the first time. Now im in a good situation and we plan on moving together soon. Think I'm not putting a ring on that?

This is kinda what I'm struggling to understand right now. Everytime I've been with a girl and only care about her it's like they lose respect for me and think "he's not going anywhere anyway...". It's like they feel like they got some kind of leverage over me even though I'm not even simping, I just simply stop entertaining other girls at all . Whereas in situations where she knows that other girls want me she looks up to me and respect me. It seems like you have to create a balance where she knows that you could cheat, but that you wouldnt. I dont fukking know.

People are weird like that, i don't know why some people put more value in a person when they are wanted by everyone else. I never got that, im to emotional and jealous for that shyt, i want piece if mind. I'd be perfection happy with no one but me wanting my man......

I think we all have the capacity to love unconditionally, if we really feel deep in our hearts that the person we're handing out heart over to will never hurt us. As long as there is that little inkling of doubt it'll never happen. You guys think the pain you go through when you're heart gets broken from infatuation is bad, give someone all of you and have them do you dirty . I think it's self preservation not to let you're commit your all. I think im close to it, and every time i think of it it scares the hell out if me cause im giving them power as well as well as heart. Do i trust them not to abuse that power is the conundrum .

As I have said women ARENT special upfront for a man . Love has to grow on us men like ....furniture. The way men love is complete different but women stay trying to faq us up to LOVE like women. Women don't WANT to understand how men love from what I have seen.

As far as being superficial I would have to say women are. I say that cause men HAVE to have charisma, be funny, intellectual, spirtual , have confidence, women want you to evoke some form of emotion in them upon meeting them. Men thinking you're attractive is precisely what determines how attractive you are. If you dress to make yourself feel attractive dressing for men regardless of whether or not you realize you are. Women are objects of desire wither you like or not. Funny thing is women don't wanna be an object of desire until they get the RIGHT man.

Women man I swear to GOD ....it is simple biology. It called natural selection is the science term. You sound like you threaten by the "thought" of competition . The funny thing women have said what you said to me about being jealous but still try to make men jump threw hoops thoe...funny how how life is.
