..they also get emotionally detached quickly.

whereas men take longer to get emotionally attached and consequently take a longer time to get emotionally detached.

once a man truly loves a chick... lord help him if she ever breaks his heart.

idk, I never been too emotional attached to afemale to the extent where I'm about to do anything drastic to beg and plead and all that. Dont get it twisted, it hurts, but a dew hours will pass and I'm thinking about something else. I can always find a women, but the problem is finding the right one.

The World, but from BK
:myman: Im 20 and the same way. Dont love these hoes.

What fukked it up for me was I had older brothers and Ive seen the foolish shyt they've done in the name of "love" :childplease:. Just wasnt goin let that be me, hell one of my older bros still does dumb shyt for these bytches and he's 23 now.:snoop:

lol...i thought the same way 'till I met someone when I was 22....was with her for almost 4 years, that experience totally changed my outlook on relationships man...it ended cause at the time I felt I wasn't ready to get engaged and move outta town with her, so I guess I made the choice shed didn't wanna hear and she left town. But it was a good experience...I had another good one too but it ended because of distance but on a good note. Now, these are women who I've confined in and they've confined in me so we're gonna have a piece of each other pretty much for life. But these relationships = life. You're no different from anyone else, everyone goes thru it.

I'm pretty much saying there's no fault in opening up and putting trust in someone you feel you can who is your s/o...through each relationship that ends, hopefully you'll get something from it and are able to get more positive than negative from it. No one wants to be hurt, but no one wants to be with someone who has a chip on their shoulder from a previous relationship. I'm currently seeing someone who's been a friend of mine and we're making that transition from more than friends....and it's cool.

sorry about the rant, i been drinking when i got home because of job stress. But don't be scared son, live and love man.

Never really been heartbroken, and I guess I thank my Pops for that. Dude has been through numerous breakups that I've learned from.

The key for men is just to never get too attached...if you give a girl all your heart, you'll be left broken if she leaves you. This isn't to say that you shouldn't love a chick. Just know that for any reason she may decide to leave you and you need to be emotionally prepared for it.

That's true. And when a woman breaks up with you, she's usually been feeling that way for a long time. She checked out of that relationship a long ass time ago and has already gotten over the heartache internally, hence why bishes be at the club the next day. They BEEN over that shyt...

Well you know the saying " absence makes the heart grow fonder", or in some cases at least.

Yes...I just hate it when I'm dating someone...and things aren't going right so I leave and they want to show me how much they love and appreciate me...:damn:

As someone posted earlier, this idea only applies to younger women (25 and under), women 25 and under
are at their peak around that age, so the rebound is usually easier for the girl, dudes are ready to take the ex's place. Getting over a relationship has more to do with a person's opportunities than anything, you think Lil Wayne or Kevin Durant are gonna have the emotional issues with a relationship like the average joe would, they have way more options. If you ever recognize broke dudes have the hardest time with break ups and most young dudes are broke. With women their value (initially) deals with looks, and as thoses fade so do their options and hence the breakups become worse, the story of bitter women usually relates to women in their 30s and 40s. I have some older female friends, mid 30s and up, and many of them still are mad/bitter over how their last relationship went years ago.
