They're awful, but I have yet to see them try to argue 6-24 with 3 assists to 5 turnovers in a game 7/defending 1 point, 1 rebound, 0 assists, steals, or blocks in the second half of game 7 is a good showing while a guy with a 32-11-10 triple double in game 6 and 37-12-4-2 in game 7 choked. I can't imagine someone topping that
you weren't on this board back in 2012, don't know if you were on sohh before that. if you were, you would know Kobe stans used to be 10 times worse than they are now. as bad as they may be right now, they were worse then.

It's just funny to me how reactionary people are. If Cleveland would've lost that game 7 with Lebron playing the exact same and he had to deal with another defeat in the finals, the narrative is completely different. You wouldn't be here making the argument that you're making now. Say Steph had hit a shot instead of Kyrie, are you still making this argument?
That depends.
Would you make the argument for Jordan's greatness if he missed that jumper over Craig Ehlo?
Or if he missed that jumper over Bryon Russell?
Or if Kerr missed that Game 6 winner in 1997?

This sort of thing goes both ways.

Today's LeBron is not >>> rookie Mike. I'm sorry. LeBron is the best player right now but it's not like LeBron is even prime LeBron right now. That has passed

So they were an army of sccit and swagnificent basically? No LeBron Stan can match that. Doubt and patriots or Red Sox stains can match that, and they preach about class or chant steroids at players while stanning David Ortiz and taunting Torrey smith about his brother dying in a motorcycle crash. They preach about Ray Lewis needing to be in jail even though there's no evidence, but then shout "free Hernandez. It's a conspiracy"

MJ is my favorite player of all time but there's at least a few players I'd take over him

You have to remember as a rookie he hadn't yet developed that potent mid-range game nor that fadeaway nor that dominant defense

potent mid-range is subjective, he had a good mid0range by his 2nd year. You think he average 37 on dunks and layups? You right he didn't perfect the fadeaway until later in his career but he had a good if not very good mid range game.
