Did you really just type that?

Do you realize the government's job is to GOVERN! That means if there are issues within its boarders, their jobs is to try, and fix them. If you are broke, and have little access to quality food, ways to dealt with trauma, and low quality education, what do you think will happen?

You could be the best parent in the world, but if you are broke, or living around other broke people even if you are not as broke as they are, who do you think is gonna be more influential on a child? The teacher or the thug? Remember we are talking about children, not adults, who grew up hearing music & tv brag about all the material things they have, and how you aint shyt if you don't have them. It's not just rap doing it, everytime you look at tv, everyone is doing well, that will fukk with your head if you live in poverty.

Man, thank god for people who see the bigger picture, because if we were stuck with blacks like yall, white supremacists would have been won the game of killing us off!
The government isn't god and the government will never replace a family and local community. Its as simple as that.

Also there are a lot of poor and broke people around the world and not everyone has the same problems. One thing that is unique in the black community is single parenthood being rampant which makes raising a kid SOLO, harder. It's hard enough to raise a kid with two parents, imagine trying to do it alone. So that is one thing that individuals in their own homes need to fix. As a kid of a single mother, I recognized that just by being a male and getting older my mother while was a great single parent was lacking in ways that a man fills in the gap when it comes to raising a young man and I was a very chill kid who was more quiet and a homebody more than the average teen so she was lucky in that regard. Still there was a lot of unsupervised and unstructured periods of time that I lived in because with one parent in the house, someone has to go to work and provide and that means less at home time with the kid.

So that is one thing at a local level that needs to be fixed. A male has an authority in the home, especially over male children that a woman more times than not simply cannot project.

Not saying all the stuff about lack of opportunities and stuff that a government can be doing don't have an impact but in my opinion, the above is the biggest issue.
P.S. you don't HAVE to own a television.

Thank God for like minded people like yourself. The right mindsets have to stick together and build, focus on productivity. Let them sit on the sidelines; bc just like they want to judge, complain and rant.. their judgement is coming.

My parents bought me and my siblings computers, video games and books. I loved staying home and playing adventure games on my PC or reading on my bed. I definitely wasn't out in the streets, doing shyt like this. :yeshrug:
Not trying to argue with you bc you are usually an advocate. I’m just going to say that you have a limited perspective on this issue.

So, blacks in the innercity are just a fukk up that even the GOVERNMENT can't fix, and they can create programs that have rockets that can go to the moon & mars! Even create body parts, but they can't fix blacks? lol, yall are full of self hate, and repeat words of those who hate YOU, shyt is crazy!

So, I take it you think they should just be put in prison for a number of years, and segregated away from most people, and increase abortions in these areas?

You do know what you sound like, right?

I can't believe my eyes. You really want the government to fix Black people. So much for self will and self determination. This right here is why some folks vote Republican.

1. I didn’t ask you
2. Chicago isn’t a black city
3. DC is barely a black city anymore
4. All those other places you mentioned are irrelevant
5. PG isn’t a city
I’m not gonna deny this city has its issues. But the people, food, and location here are top notch. And there’s only one city bigger than this one with a higher % of black people. I’ll take being around people that look like me any time. But if you soft this city won’t appeal to you tho. So I get it
:mjlol:

He literally just pulled an internet list of places out his ass I know wayyyyyy more black people moving to Baltimore for work or school. Plenty of black people moved to Baltimore from NY,NJ,Philly,NC,SC,Va Fl, to go to Morgan or coppin, work at one of the many hospitals and literally never leave.

I don’t what he talking about Never heard a black person talk about moving to desoto or orangeburg:russ:

When outsiders say the moving or going to school in the dmv- they include Baltimore even though Marylanders differentiate

That’s one side affect of No one to help them lead by example. Let’s be real, most fully grown adults can’t even get their shyt together in a productive way, “each one teach one” is out the door in some cases . If we don’t have viable solutions for the youth, they will be led astray. There’s also the lack of economic opportunities and investment. General instability- mental and emotional neglect.
I was part of a volunteer writing program in Chicago a few years back.. the things that these kids have experienced and communicating with them personally, they are stressed.. smh, if you see them from an empathetic mindset, you would understand. (No shade at you bc I respect you as poster, just stating my feelings.. that’s all)

I feel you, and respect that. At some point something’s gotta give.
