I'm not too excited bout this album by now. they've pretty much established with this run of "singles" that they aint really got it like that no more. I'll still check the album but expectations low as a turtle dikk.

The song was alright, just has an 8 Diagrams vibe too it to me. I need that classic Wu shyt, some shyt with some energy that bangs! I'm a huge Wu fan, but honestly I've had a problem with EVERY Wu Tang Clan album that's not 36 Chambers! Wu Tang Forever grew on me over the years, when it first came out I wasn't too thrilled with most of the beats, they sounded way different from what Wu was putting out beforehand. The W came out like 3 years later and when I heard it I was like "is that it?!" I waited all this time for that?! I mean it was an ok album, just felt like something was missing. Iron Flag had a few bangers but doesn't really resonate with me and 8 Diagrams was meh. Their solo albums FAR outshine any Wu group album ever released! With every Wu Tang release I hope for something that brings back that old feelin, these nikkas were LITERALLY the soundtrack to my teenage and high school years! I may sound like an old nostalgic nikka cryin but I miss '93 to '97 Wu! I need these dudes to bring that kinda heat!

I came in here to post this.....I love Rza and remember what he was. He's washed up production wise. I know it sounds crazy but he needs Kanye to executive produce while he just contributes.

At this point Kanye, Just Blaze, Bink, Alchemist, Jake One etc could probably produce a better Wu Tang album than dude...

No. Madlib & Alchemist are the only two that could breathe life into the clan. Kanye absolutely sucks.

Good choice with Madlib....


If you don't like Kanye that's on you. He may not be the best beatmaker but he's one of the best PRODUCERS out there. He took Common to heavenly heights with BE......and he could bring the Wu back to prominence.

Think about what Pete Rock did for Run DMC with Down with the King....He updated their sound, made them current, hot without selling out and losing their base...That's what Wu needs. That's what Kanye has shown to be able to do. Whether he uses ghost producers, takes others beats/ideas.....with him involved it's guaranteed to be dope.......

I dont mind the track and thought it was pretty dope on the performance, agree though that this 'cdq' version does sound too light, even unfinished. Does make you wonder what we gonna get with the album if this is gonna be the formula.

Alright this is the first RZA track that is supposed to be on A Better Tomorrow (I don't think Family Reunion will be on it) and I'm disappointed. It's a good track, but I was expecting more. The singing on this and Keep Watch really kills the tracks and the beat is good but underwhelming. RZA said that he feels that the music that he cooked up for this album feels as timeless as Al Green's classics to him, so I definitely was expecting something better. I still have faith in the Abbott so I'm expecting everything else leaked to the public will be better than the first two aforementioned tracks.

I don't mind the track either but i do hope that this and Keep Watch aren't indicative of what we're going to be getting with the rest of the album. I loved the first few tracks that leaked off 8 Diagrams, these first 2 have me more like:
