I don't mind the track either but i do hope that this and Keep Watch aren't indicative of what we're going to be getting with the rest of the album. I loved the first few tracks that leaked off 8 Diagrams, these first 2 have me more like:

I'm sure in a recent Rza interview he said the bulk of the album was live music though. I just hope they finally get this out in November. Tell the truth I would rather hear the Cilvaringz album, the beats on that are dope as hell.

Yea, the beats we've heard from Cilva's album sound vicious.

I came in here to post this.....I love Rza and remember what he was. He's washed up production wise. I know it sounds crazy but he needs Kanye to executive produce while he just contributes.

At this point Kanye, Just Blaze, Bink, Alchemist, Jake One etc could probably produce a better Wu Tang album than dude...

an entirely alchemist produced wu-tang album would be the best thing ever. :krs:

Good choice with Madlib....

If you don't like Kanye that's on you. He may not be the best beatmaker but he's one of the best PRODUCERS out there. He took Common to heavenly heights with BE......and he could bring the Wu back to prominence.

Think about what Pete Rock did for Run DMC with Down with the King....He updated their sound, made them current, hot without selling out and losing their base...That's what Wu needs. That's what Kanye has shown to be able to do. Whether he uses ghost producers, takes others beats/ideas.....with him involved it's guaranteed to be dope.......

i hated what Kanye did with Common.

because that's totally my M.O. around here. Beat is basic. Makes Apollo Brown seem original.

My original post was just highlighting how I want dusty old samples for a wu album, not this live band type shyt. Rza's sample selection was the best in the game to me and it's a fukking shame we ain't gonna get it on this album. Don't take offence to me posting a beat that I made in 5mins to make my point, support me in the this weeks tunnel sample flip challenge, that I'm currently leading the votes in :russ:

i rly wish they stop with this stupid corny singin forreal man if it aint fukin blue raspberry or dat white chick from Love Is Digi toss dat shyt
why do they need that singin shyt? it ruins the fukkin momentum..like you said, the blue rasp and tekitha brought that soulful display to the grittiness sound, we don't need this shyt.
