My fam is from Louisiana.

The corn and potato's are normal. But the dam mushrooms?:hhh:

Celerey:stopitslime:

Whole ass oranges?:russ: You can use a little lemon juice to add acidity

The the drops of hotsauce is because they added half a container of cayenne.

And add some fresh minced garlic not just the powder along with some thick chopped onion.

Also the ICE was just an abomination to humanity:scust:

Edit: Did they even purge those damned crawfish in some fresh water? WTF

My bro in law boils so much crawfish over the summer that I get sick of it :noah: Like "damn breh ain't you TIRED?! :damn: You don't wanna throw something on the grill one time?! :why:"

That being said. He's uses lemons faithfully and mushrooms occasionally. I really like the mushrooms, but then again i LOVE mushrooms :hubie: my main issue is with how they started it off. Them punk ass seasoning containers :martin: nah you need that PACK and then some

Three drops of hot sauce :dead: that ain't enough for a chicken leg

And the ice is to cool the pot off. After you boil the crawfish you need to let them soak for about 30 minutes to an hour. I usually go around 45ish. But if you don't cool the pot off the crawfish are actually still cooking and NOT soaking up the seasoning. They'll also get soggy this way. Like I said some people use ice I like to hose the outside of the pot off with cold water.
