I bet he'll get his own solo trilogy. And gets as much screen-time as Thor or Cap gets in the X-men movies.
Promise he will never be excluded entirely from a movie based on a comic he actually appeared in like Dark Phoenix. the thing about the MCU is they use all of the character. Nobody gets reduced to a cameo like Jubilee or Dazzler etc. Least amount you can expect is like War Machine.

Anticipating more Wolverine in the MCU with the lack of development of the other characters over 20 years from Fox is insane.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix Director Confirms Nod to The Dark Knight Rises

The final conflict in the film sees Jean Grey embracing the full powers of the Phoenix Force, ultimately sacrificing herself as the power launches into space. Charles Xavier then leaves his school behind, with the film depicting him outside of a Parisian cafe having a chess game with Magneto. This reminded many fans of the finale of The Dark Knight Rises, which depicts Bruce Wayne sharing a glance with Alfred outside of a European cafe.

When speaking with io9, Kinberg was directly asked if this was a nod to the Christopher Nolan film, which the director confirmed. The filmmaker also detailed how Batman Begins was a major tonal influence on this film, in addition to the inclusion of a scene depicting a former superhero choosing to lead a quieter life.

"Obviously there are the supernatural, fantastical elements from the source material and it was important to me that we included the cosmic intergalactic storyline from the comics because we hadn’t seen any of that in X-Men films yet," Kinberg detailed. "The superhero movies that were most inspiring to me were like Logan and Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy."

He added, "Ironically, the first half of Batman Begins is my favorite chunk of the Dark Knight movies. Obviously, they’re all masterpieces, but the first half of Batman Begins before he becomes Batman, I just found so relatable because he’s just a guy. He doesn’t have his suit or an alter ego. He’s not off fighting crime. I approached Dark Phoenix with those films in mind, and wanted to emphasize the character drama. The movie needed to be more raw and intimate and personal than we’d done with the franchise before."

Breh really just tried stealing moments from other comic book movies :pachaha:

Obviously Jennifer Lawrence aint give no fukks about this movie and it shows in how much time she wanted to put in just putting on the make up.

He needs to be iced for the first 2-3 X-Men flicks off GP.

IDGAF and when he does arrive make his first appearance like Black Panther in Civil War.

I just came back from the movie and I actually liked it. Maybe it was from the low expectations from critics, and people on thecoli, but I was pleasantly surprised. The movie has it's fair share of flaws, but I overall enjoyed it. The effects are really good and outside of the 2nd act being a little slow, the pacing was good.

They borrowed a lot from The Last Stand. Like a comical amount. It's almost like Simon Kinsberg made this movie just to prove to people that The Last Stand wasn't that bad and that all it needed was just a few tweaks.

The fact that she only used her powers once and that was to turn into herself says it all. Whats the point of a shape shifter that doesn't shape shift?:mindblown: that why you can't make her a good guy, because it makes her powers worthless.

Hard:dame:

Like even without the merger, a flop of this magnitude would've been the end of the franchise.
Anyone doubting that the MCU will wait 5 years before making another x-men now is crazy. Feige would be a fool to rush one out now.

They would have done a Sony like deal after this shyt if they hadn't been purchased.

That's how dire it would have been.

I'm currently watching this in an empty theater :ahh:

An hour in and I'm not seeing how this is remotely as bad as people are making it to be

I saw it again yesterday as I have a movie pass.

It's definitely not as bad as people are making it out to be. The Phoenix in The Last Stand used her powers more and was a lot more creepier than this one, but overall it's a good flick.
