I agree.Passions are subjective, the payoff on mountain biking can be just as euphoric as it is on year 1 as it is on year 5
Its very subjective, as long as growth is happening you are reaping the rewards
I've been making music for 5 years and the growth has been massive but its still just as fulfilling now as it was when I first started
There is no peak, its a constant progress, if that was the case you're telling me the first 19 years of your 20 year journey was dog shyt but suddenly on year 20 you got the big payoff
The real euphoria comes from learning and growth, its not a big payoff
The process and the product is the most rewarding and as long as incremental progress is being made, you will be happy... Because it is your passion
The JOURNEY is everything
What you're talking about is MASTERY
But you guys seem to not wanna point out that no matter how enjoyable your passion is, it still takes a lot of hard work to cultivate it
Breh- you know how people many discover golf as a passion in their 50's and 60's? And while they may never become professional golfers, this does not take away from the fact that it provides an outlet for enjoyment and fulfillment.
