NY magnified Revis' greatness and the Jets dysfunction.

If this all took place in Cleveland, OH you can bet Revis wouldn't be the star he is and the Jets would not get the coverage they do

Revis would still be the best CB in the game and Revis would still want more money. The Revis angle is interesting because it's Revis. The team being the Jets only adds to it given the other bullshyt they have.

The difference between the Jets and teams like the Cowboys, Lakers, Yankees, etc is that when the Jets' circus dies down, they're just another crappy team that nobody inherently has rooting interest for or against. Teams like the Cowboys, Lakers and Yankees are loved AND hated, so when it's going good, one side eats good. When it's going bad, one side eats good.

This year it's beans. Last year it was corn. Get it right :hmm:

Keep getting your shyt incorrect you'll have to order your Tropicana with no pulp no T'wolves tickets

hahaha, it's sad though.

You got people duped into thinking the NBA is doing good business because the Lakers/Knicks/Nets/Bulls/Heat are doing good business.

@LastEmperor2k2 doesn't watch NBA TV obviously.

Don't blame the NBA for the noise you keep hearing on ESPN and elsewhere.

Aren't you the first one to tell people to stop listening to bullshyt on TV? Yet you're in here repeating it.

Revis would still be the best DB in the league, but he wouldn't be as publicized.

NY makes their stars into superheroes.

at the same time, the biggest controversy of this season came outta New Orleans. The league's biggest superhero plays in Minnesota. Prior to Tebow joining the Jets, he had the country on his dikk in Denver. Football doesn't completely need that market or even team to prop something up.

Because the players dress like Pokemon trainers and are generally very corny?

Couldn't agree more. There are great/interesting stories all over the league.

I just do believe NY brings a brighter light on it's players.

Don't even get me started on that.

When the Heat won that title against the Mavs from the FT line to wrap the series up, never been as disgusted in my life at a pro sport.

NBA All Star Weekend in 1988 was the first time I thought a professional sports league was rigged.

Isn't it the same way with the Cowboys and Jets tho?

Exactly. Let the Pats get off to a 2-5 start next year and Brady and Welker have words. That shyt would be lead story on SC even if you had a squad that was 7-0 and outscoring their opponents by 25. Let Jeter and ARod get into it that shyt would be all you ever heard about. Mainstream sports media (ESPN) is all about stars and drama. Once the playoffs start, if the Lakers aren't there, all that noise will die down until the offseason.
