Nicole Bus is dope, but she might fall victim to the Leela James/Jazmine Sullivan curse. Her voice is a little to grown and strong to fit in with the current landscape.

The Land That Time Forgot
The black church was the home for all quality singers. Nowadays, the mamas go to the club Saturday nights and wake up late Sunday Mornings, and forego church. The kids dont know anything about singing in the chrior or honing their voices.

Our old church that I attended growing up, once had a magnificent choir and band.

Now, they just have an organist and the pastor does most of the singing by himself.

So not only are the great vocalists being lost - the super, young drummers, bass players, guitarists, pianists that
came from the church have also disappeared.
